Dunno if anybody knows about this already. This is a pretty fun game, I gotta say. I played for a couple of hours. :derpe:

For myself, I got to Level 22, and stopped there because I need my sleep. However, I'm going to try to break that record in the future (EDIT: Gotten to Level 45 so far). :trixieftw:

    Things I've learned while playing:

    - Upgrading your ponies' damage is a good first step. This truly helps in maximizing their usefulness.

    - I personally prefer the Applejack, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle units. They function as close-quarters, sniper, and splash damage units, respectively. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash function as speed, slowing, and multi-hit units.

    - As with all tower defense games with an above-view map, unit placement is key. Rarity units, for example, should go in the middle, so as to maximize their range. Applejack units, on the other hand, should go in corners (preferably ones that the enemies must pass twice) so as to maximize the effectiveness of their melee attack. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash units should be able to reach multiple lanes of enemy traffic. Fluttershy units should be set across from or near other units of another type, as Fluttershy does not give damage. Pinkie Pie goes well with Fluttershy.

    - After damage, the player must choose whether to upgrade the range or delay (fire-rate). You'll either be able to hit enemies that are farther away, or hit closer enemies more times. Given the opportunity, upgrade both.

    - While it is better to upgrade a few ponies than to place very many of them, you should also have a few extra ponies around should things get messy. No more than ten are required for some time (I didn't use more than 9 to hit Level 22), but you should think about placing one every now and again.

    Have fun! :omg:

Oooh, nice find. I had a quick go, it could do with some more towers/ponies/variation but asides from that it was pretty fun indeed ^^
    Thanks for sharing!

Awesome game, but imo the first 5 waves are too hard... :sigh:

It is fun and hard and what I've seen is that there are some balancing issues as well, initial tower Damage/speed etc. Otherwise it is a nice game though maybe if the difficulty didn't get harder every level, maybe change it to the point of every three levels it got significantly harder and then throw a boss at you. That's about it as far as I know.

Yeah, that was pretty hard. I got to the 6th wave, I think. But it was awesome just for existing! :D

    Are you serious?

Dang it, I should have tried it more than once... :(

By the by, congrats on your 750th post. I just noticed. Please don't be offended if it was, like, two weeks ago or something! xD

    *Chuckles.* Quite alright.

Try the second map. Make Twilight and six pinkies. To survive Iron Will, upgrade Twilight's damage all the way BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE. Then get some range and attack speed. She should make him WAY easier.

Beat all waves on first map. Beat Nightmare Moon as well. Apparently it unlocks advanced mode with 50 modes and gives access to the orbital friendship cannon.

EDIT: Just beat first map on advanced. Final boss is Discord. Not too hard to kill once you have roughly 15 fully upgraded Raritys, 3 fully upgraded Twilights, and 2 fully upgraded Rainbow Dashes attacking in unison. Plus a Fluttershy every few steps to make sure everything is nice and slow.

Yeah, beat Discord last night myself. He danced around and made the screen change color, then picked up the word "Bits" from my HUD and threw it at Fluttershy!

    THAT!

    BIG!

    MEANIE!

    I had like, 14 rarities, 4 twilights, 2 RDs, 14 Pinkies, and 2 Fluttershies.

Maybe 4 Applejacks, I dunno. She's not very useful.

Yeah, I got the dancing and color-changing too. When he started dancing, he actually skipped about half of the normal route! I don't remember him doing the bits thing, though. I think I killed him before he did that.

Applejack is far and away the most useless unit in the game. Pinkie Pie isn't very useful either, and I didn't use her at all this time, but at least she's cheap.

HA! That is great! Discord is so awesome that way--

    I...mean...yeah. Meanie. That stuff.

Also, some shameless self-promotion, I am attempting the making of an MLP TD game! I don't expect it to be done overnight obviously, or even anytime soon, or even anytime NOT soon, but it has to start somewhere, and it's starting here in mah BLOG!

So you can check that out if you want.

I took a brief look at the game but didn't really understand it. I'll have to try it out when I get the extra free time.

How're you? I'm legion! (You could probably tell that by my username, though. xD)
