Um... Hello there, I'm an ailment... I mean, my name is Ailment. It's a pleasure to meet you.. I'm very shy when I first meet someone for the first time.. I have severe Avoidant Personality Disorder, so I scare really easy and get nervous all the time.. I'm still in the process of facing my fears so that I might be able to talk to someone for a change.. I'm normally sick for around half the year and I'm very thin and frail, so everyone I know calls me Ail.. I joined so that I could ask some questions, but I'm kinda afraid to post them now.. I would like to try chatting with you all, but I also don't want to waste your time on a lost cause.. Uh... Woah.. Didn't expect so many replies.. It's.. uh.. nice to meet you all! I rarely meet anyone who is kind (maybe once in a blue moon?), so it's kind of shocking to see that all of you are friendly! I'm sorta.. well.. a little lost right now.. I haven't used forums before, and the amount of replies on some of the topics I read makes my head spin.. Heh, guess I was unprepared. I'm hesitant on messaging any of you as I'd most likely just be bother. Plus, I have no idea how to message yet, but I'll most likely figure that out soon. I doubt this is the place to ask this, but is there a way to get an alert when someone posts on this thread? I just think it would be really rude of me not to reply when you all spent your time writing a reply when I'm sure you had something better to do. Hey, don't worry about it! Everyone's been a noob at some point! Ad it is absolutely NOT a problem for you to message us. (By the way, to do that, just click on your username and then a little dropdown menu will appear, and you can just click "private message" and there you are!) And I see Yami already taught you how to subscribe. I HIGHLY recommend going into your settings and turning on auto-subscribe. That means that any thread you post in, you are automatically subscribed to. Helpful for people like me, who forget to subscribe if they don't have that on. As I said, everyone has to start somewhere. ^^ When I was new to the internet, I didn't know what things like "woot" or "noob" meant. xD You learn eventually, trust me. Just don't be afraid to ask what something means, or to go look it up. (Well...maybe SOMETIMES you should be afraid to look it up. I can think of a few things...) And don't worry if you're no good at art, most of us here aren't.
Uh...This was kinda amusing.. I had to look up noob.. You could not possibly fathom how stupid I felt once I figured that out.. Uh, I guess I fail when it comes to social skills/terminology, huh? I really have to thank you for the detailed response.. I am very forgetful when I'm doing a different task, so having auto-subscribe I can see as being very helpful. Also thanks for showing me how to send messages.. I still doubt I will send any that often, but knowing how to send them is nice.. So, uh, yeah, thanks a lot! Looks like I owe you one as well.. Uh, thanks for the welcome! I do have to ask something though.. Is it really some of the members "duty" to say hello and answer my questions? If so, I'll stop replying.. I had no idea it was someone's duty to answer my questions.. Makes me feel bad for even asking them. I don't want to be some obligation or burden that comes with the job. I do that enough around college. So I apologize to those of you who had to answer my questions.. I'll try to look elsewhere for answers from now on and will try to keep my stupidity level as low as possible.. Um, I'm really sorry about that..
