So I'm about to do some major grinding on Halo 4 over the spring break, and thought it might be a good idea in the process to make a thread about the Halo game series on the Xbox 360.

    Which is your favourite game?

Are you a multiplayer master, campaign god, or forge creator?

Personally I've been a fan of the series for a while, having played the original on the classic Xbox. Since then I've done all the campaigns on Legendary, but I've never been much of a good multiplayer up until Halo: Reach. Forge is still one of my favourite gamemodes to play in all honesty, especially with friends.

Hell even the firefight modes are pretty great, if Halo 3: ODST added nothing else but that then it contributed something.

So Spartans, post your thoughts here and remember to finish the fight!

My friend introduced me to Halo 1 when I first moved to Florida and I was instantly hooked. When Halo 2 came out, my entire life as a gamer changed forever. I cannot even begin to describe how much fun that game was. Halo 2 took a very unique set of skills unlike any other game with it's superjumps, BxRs, BxBs, double shots, and so on. The jump from Halo 2 to 3 was also amazing. The new graphics completely blew me away. Oh man I could write a book about my stories with the Halo series.

For starters, I consider myself a campaign and multiplayer master. I suck at forge though. I began losing interest after playing Halo Reach though. It lacked that feeling of a real Halo game like 1, 2, and 3, and even ODST. People would always pay me to get them achievements on Halo 3 so I've beaten the legendary campaign at least 50 times there. I'll save some discussion material for if/when more people reply to this thread.

Anyways, I made this thing a month before Halo Reach came out because I had my doubts about Reach. Watching this for me is just like looking in a family photo album.

I dropped out of this a while ago and went back to what got me into gaming RTS. Though I did enjoy Halo Wars more so than any of the other games. The only thing I liked about the FPS Halo's was the forge mode and that's really about it. I would only really buy Halo 4 again to finish making my space station as it is still incomplete.

Maan, I've been into the series since it began, but never like I am now. See, I always used to go on Co-Op Multiplayer with my brother, but never really played it properly by myself until this year. I've still yet to complete the games on Legendary, though... Well I have only been playing properly for a few months...

I own 'em all apart from 3 and ODST. My favourite of the series's Reach, for sures. It's for a mixture of reasons, including the tragic story, the awesome music, and the fact that sometimes killing grunts will make their methane tanks go crazy. Firefight on it's awesome too. :3
Never really cared for Forge. And I usually go on Single Player, but that's only because my broadband sucks arse.

I really like Halo 4 offline. Online was disappointing and how it was essentially a very watered down version of Call Of Duty's online multiplayer.

I love how the Covies talk. I remember once when one shouted "Hummus" at me, which was kinda of weird. A grunt once shouted "Toss me" at me too, an Elite "Kiss my arse".

My favourite quote will always be "Wort wort wort", combat evolved.
