Well everyone here seems to dislike it greatly... I'll be the voice of reason. Lets look into more than just what it looks like. The Xbox one runs off 8-core 64-bit x86 Jaguar AMD CPU @ 1.6GHz, coupled with a GPU that’s very close to Radeon HD 7790 AMD CPU with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, HDMI in/out, USB 3.0, and a Gigabit Ethernet. The PS4 has 8-core Jaguar AMD CPU, with a GPU that’s around the same level as the Radeon 7870. Unlike the Xbox One, the PS4 has 8GB of GDDR5 RAM which is A LOT better, but this is hardly worth mentioning since the Xbox has 32MB of high-speed SRAM on the GPU. There isn't much difference but the PS4 has one edge on the Xbox One, the single block of huge RAM and GPU. But since the Xbox runs as it does. You'll won't notice a difference at all. As before, the Xbox has better connections, they have better games available to only them, it does more than the PS4 can. Xbox one comes WITH Kinect, which should have a lot better power than the Playstation 4 EYE (But we don't know much about that yet.) EA: They are in it with Microsoft, and I have to admit. I'm scared to see how much they'll mess everything up. However, EA DID announce it is dropping the use of online passes, and focusing on making games instead of rushing them. So they aren't THAT bad... but still bad. So to finish this up. Statistically, there is no difference between X1 and PS4 other than Xbox does more things. From then on it matters about what games you want to play. I swear, Xbox is more of a convenience center to watch Netflix and order pizza (i'm not kidding), than a game console. I'm gonna stick with the PlayStation 4 and the Wii U.

But Personal Computers vary. You cannot compare something made for gaming to something that isn't. That's like comparing an iPhone to a Toaster. (Toaster is superior.)
Tis true, I have multiple computers so lets look at what you said and use me for an example. I have one computer better than both consoles and a laptop that is worse. There is a lot of cons to being a PC gamer, regardless of how your PC is made. Before I start to explain let me clarify that I am in no way a "PC gamer" I play Halo 4 professionally so I am ALWAYS on the Xbox 360. First off; The 3rd party content for games on the PC. YOu can mod the game easily, upgrade it, and morph it into an even better game on the PC. While it's possible on the Xbox or Playstation, it's a lot more stubborn and not as possible. The PC can be forced to use everything the Xbox AND Playstation use, and run it more effectively depending on the PC. The PC can be forced to run games in an adequate mode even if your computer is not good-enough. My laptop has 1.6 GHZ and 3.6 RAM. I can just fiddle with the processes and I can play most games Lag-Free. I see your point though, some people do not have a PC that can run games at all and are forced to play on Consoles, but regardless. The PC can be better. And what do you mean I can't compare them? Who said that? And why does it matter? If PC isn't meant for gaming then it's quite shameful when it's better for playing games xD
I use Xbox because it makes it easy for me to have fun with friends I do not normally see face to face. I also think it's pretty cool they're integrating a little bit of everything so it isn't just for games. I will admit the presentation was a bit lacking but you guys gotta remember that E3 is coming soon. And some of you really need to chill out and not flip over such simple things. The CoD bashing is especially childish. Get over it.
