I don't understand why FFXII gets so much hate, lol. Personally I thought it was a brilliant game too. I seem to have a thing for Final Fantasy games with numbers as multiples of 3. VI, IX, and XII are my favorites.
I've never been a fan of games like that. Anime styled things just don't do it for me, for some reason. I know they're good games, they're amazing, but they just not for me. That said, one of my favourite games ever was Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. It was something of a spinoff, but I absolutely loved it.
I put SO many hours into XII, and I couldn't even do everything....that was a great game...except for Penelo.
Haha, Penelo. I generally ignore the fact that she exists. XD I put just over one hundred hours into my first playthrough of FFXII, and also didn't actually do a lot of the major side quests. That game has some obscenely long side quests. rofl I really liked Vayne as a character, actually. I have a thing for villains that aren't necessarily evil. The Occuria are cool too, and one of my original fictions is quite heavily inspired by them. As for Crystal Chronicles, I never did play that very much, at least not single-player. My friends from middle school and I went caravaning a bit, but I don't think we got super far. We couldn't figure out what to do at that one gold miasma stream. lol
I remember that bit, it was weird. There was like, some riddle you had to do. Go here, do this, go to this place, bla bla bla. There was a hidden 5th element in the desert that allowed you to pass through any miasma stream. I want to play it now. God I loved the Gamecube, it was so underrated.
FF X is my favorite game. It's also the first FF game that I played. The first time I played I put 90 hours into. Something happened and I lost all the data. I just bought it a couple weeks back and I love it. Also they are remaking FF X for the PS3, I can't wait for it.
Ah, the gamecube. I remember playing Metroid Prime and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on it....those were gaming experiences...
I played Sunshine countless times. I just loved the setting and the inhabitants were hilarious (Piantas > Nokis) I loved the sound the Piantas made when you talked to them. XD The music was amazing and the missions were so much fun! (Cool off an angry chain chomp, fight a shadowy manta ray, fly on the back of a sand bird, etc.) God, that was a great game...
I only played it for 5-10 minutes, as it's my sister's, but Super Mario Galaxy was a beautiful game, brilliant to play.
Best Games: Final Fantasy 6 (Last good one), Phoenix Wright Series, Fire Emblem 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Tekken, Street Fighter, Team Fortress Two, Half-Life 2, Valkyria Chronicles Worst: I don't play bad games.
Galaxy, Galaxy 2, Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion (so. damn. awesome.), Banjo Kazooie, Yoshi's Island, SMW, DK64. Those games = Absolute top-class. PC: Minecraft, a little Touhou.
Ahahahaha, same. XD Soulcalibur is the only fighting game I play, even if it's not all that often. My mains are Kilik, Talim, and Lizardman. I'm no tournament-level player of course, but I still enjoy a brisk throwdown once in a while. Though really, I play Soulcalibur IV almost exclusively for the character creation. XD Not joking, I could sit down for hours and just make characters.
