Hey everypony, What books are you all reading lately? I just finished The Order of Odd-Fish by James Kennedy and I'm currently reading Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk.
The last book I read was Insomnia by Steven King, and I am currently reading "Mister B Gone" by Clive Barker
Man, i should go back to reading books. Last book i read was "Zavist i urok - otrovi duse" ("Envy and evil eyes - the poison of the soul") by Author unknown (not known to me). Now reading... I guess religious books count too? The holy Qur'an. Well, not that I'll ever finish it (finish as in, stop reading it), so i guess i'll go ahead and say "None".
I just finished Abarat and Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War by Clive Barker. How is Mister B Gone? I've really liked what I've read by him.
Mister B Gone is well written, but it has random gore scenes and the narrator had an inconsistent personality....but hey, that's just my opinion. Abarat was much better.
Last book I read the Fable book. I've also read a bunch of green lantern comics but I guess they don't count. I've be meaning to read the mass effect books for sometime, I'm just to busy to stop and read them though

I finished Halo: The Cole Protocol about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've started reading Halo Evolutions: Volume I. Yes, I'm a big fan of Halo... Might I add, but the book was quite amazing, actually. Great structure and background, the suspense makes you want to never stop reading it, and the book itself isn't that long, only around 360* pages. ( I rarely read books that are longer than 800 pages. ) * Not including the Author's Notes and Credits.
Those were actually rather good books. I was surprised seeing as how many video game books lack. I found Cryptum to be quite interesting too though I was hoping for a game to clear up the Forerunner stuff. That said, the last book I read was Salmon of Doubt. I've been a huge Hitchhiker's fan since middle school but everyone I talked to said to avoid it. I should have listened. It wasn't bad but depressing. Knowing where he was taking things made it harder to swallow. As far as my next read, I think it's going to be that upcoming Star Wars book about Revan. I know it's months off but all my spending money seems to be disappearing and nothing really good on the horizon for me in terms of books.
Well the last book I read is required for an Honors course in college, so I read The Epic of Gilgamesh...it was okay, but I preferred Beowulf. Now I'm reading a book on animal life...I can't remember the last fiction book I read (not counting Gilgamesh).
I just finished "The Sea of Trolls" by Nancy Farmer, not an advanced book, but a good read. And I'm not sure if this counts, but I finished the first two volumes of Rurouni Kenshin.....
Besides for educational purposes, Needful Things by Stephen Kind. Great story, I'm a big Stephen King fan.
Reading "High Rulain"... a Redwall book. Yeah, I like Redwall. :3 Reading tons of manga as always as well. Gotta catch up on The World God Only Knows and One Piece... not that I'm too far behind XD
The only Redwall book I've read was Salamandastron, but it was really good. I should try to find more... Anywho, I can't exactly remember what the last book I read was, it's been awhile. Although I've been trying to get a hold of Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton. I've read just about everything he's written.
some legend of zelda majoras mask magna. its very awesome. it makes me want to play the game, everytime i read it.
I just finished "Betting on the Muse" by Bukowski. It's a collection of short stories and poems that are depressing as hell! But they are very nice to read for some odd reason.... Now I'm reading "The Trial" by Kafka
Kafka will mess your head up hahaha. I've read a few of his books and I spent the next few days pondering things scary and irrational things.
I'm still trying to read Green Lantern and Philosophy. One day I shall have time and I will finish it.
