*Took down link because 1) I was told the site is a fake and 2) Webroot is now tellinng me the site is "suspicious." *

If you go to the site you'll hear a bunch of beeping noises and if you happened to be a Boyscout you may recognize it as being Morse code. I have no idea what it says, but luckily some peeps on the interwebz have already deciphered it.

Like the Gravity Falls codes, the message might change every day or something, but that's what it said yesterday anyway.

So yeah, Fallout 4 to be announced in 5 days. Get hype!

Haaaay, was wondering when this was going to be announced, will have to keep an eye out now. I wonder if they are a good way into development, or are they at the very beginning, will be released sometime before you die but don't hold your breath unless you're into that sort of thing but know Bethesda and it's subsidiaries aren't liable for injury or death do to you being a big dumb and taking it literately and then passing out do to asphyxiation and knocking your noggin so that your parents and pastor and freaking Barbara Walters come knocking at our door screaming about how video games are corrupting the youth of America and how now little Timmy has to ride the short bus now since your ad told him to hold his breath because you know they will but then they'll turn it into a feel good lifetime mini-series of the week saying that it's a good opportunity to inform the public of the dangers of video game violence as well as showing the strength of the human spirit as it triumphs over adversity but secretly they're just in it for the money exploiting that poor kid and using some of the proceeds to ship him off to some godforsaken hole at the end of the world for someone else to deal with but on a happy note they cast the lead role of Timmy to an unknown but very talented young actor just trying to crawl his way out of the Bronx and finally be somebody giving him that one big break he always need but unfortunately in an ironic twist he turns out to have an unhealthy obsession that borderlines on insane addiction to Grand Theft Auto and while out speeding in his shinny new expensive car that his big break paid for reenacting his favorite scene in the game ends up head longing it into a semi truck and finds out that he doesn't just re-spawn at the nearest hospital all hunkydory save for missing a few thousand bucks but on a bright note he and Timmy now share a room, stage.

Anyway psyched regardless, thanks much for passing along the info.
And yes, I play it purely for The Ron Perlman, but the rest is pretty good too I guess:twi:

Dude! I love, love, LOVE Fallout New Vegas, so if there's a new game coming out, I am so there. If they're smart, they'll release this on the Xbox 360, cause nobody's gonna buy the Xbox Done (no one with more than a gnat's intelligence anyway).

It sold over 1 million consoles in the first 24 hours, roughly tying with the PS4's day one sales.

Well that wasn't inflamatory or inconsiderate at all. For the record, the Walmart I work at is sold out of Xbox Ones, we sold more than half our stock on the 22[SUP]nd[/SUP], and yet we still have an entire skid full of PS4s left. The sales on the latter were incredibly disappointing. In any case, the game will almost certainly come out for the nextgen consoles, as it's unlikely the the older generations could properly keep up with modern games. Consider how Skyrim performed on the older consoles; the performance and graphical settings left much to be desired. That having been said, I'm almost certainly getting it for PC as I'd love to see how far it's come from old New Vegas graphics. Personally, I'm hoping for a better inventory and journal interface.

To clarify my previous statement: Remember all those horrible, anti-consumer, pro-Big Brother DRM features that were the main focus of discussion on this thing for months? Yeah, there's a pretty large number of people who won't be able to download the day one patch to turn them off and even for the ones who can, Microsoft admitted as recently as August that it's only temporary and they're gonna turn those "features" back on at some future date anyway. So, I ask you, why in Zeus's name would anyone with an IQ greater than 5 waste their money on this abomination? So it sold a million. Big deal. I guarantee you that a lot of folks will bring their systems back when they realize how utterly worthless it is for people without a constant, high-speed, broadband web connection (which is most of the country for those keeping track). Oh and another thing, if you want to download the patch, you have to agree not to sue or else you can't download it. This was also confirmed by Microsoft themselves in the very recent past. So, again, who in their right mind would buy one of these things?

    EDIT: Here, watch this:

EDIT 2: Here's another one that's less fanboyish:

EDIT 3: Bad news for Microsoft once this gets out. I hate to say "I told you so", but...:

Your comments have been rather biased. I'll believe it when I see it, to be blunt.

Microsoft never said they'd re-enable the policies. Not only would this be a stupid move, but it'd also alienate pretty much every Microsoft consumer. They'd kill themselves.

Please post sources before you make such claims.

    You want sources? Fine. Here:

    http://www.ibtimes.com/xbox-one-use...suits-against-microsoft-experts-weigh-1306797

    http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/aug/22/xbox-one-microsoft-gamescom-2013

In particular, this bit from the Guardian article: "We're committed to the digital ecosystem that we talked about at the beginning of Xbox One. Absolutely...we added physical DRM to the digital DRM plan that we had. When we did that, maths takes over and some things had to move out. But the core of that digital ecosystem is absolutely something that we believe in, and we haven't reversed it." Emphasis mine.

    You're welcome.

That's not saying that the DRM policies would not be reversed; they got rid of the DRM policies because pre-orders were dropping and their financial stocks were plummeting. It means they didn't reverse the digital sharing of games and whatnot and that they would come later on down the line. You're twisting the facts due to your own bias about the situation.

If you read earlier; 'What we heard from gamers is that they enjoyed the physical DRM they had with the 360 ecosystem and they wanted to add that to Xbox One. So we added physical DRM to the digital DRM plan that we had. When we did that, maths takes over and some things had to move out.'

This is the key point here. They took out the DRM policies because the math behind it would mean a loss of sales projection.

Now if you're thinking Digital DRM, that's exactly like the DRM policies we have for all PC games now to prevent pirating and copied disks, which saves them, and the company who made the game's, money. That'll be in all things electronic, console or not, in the future.

Like I said: They won't reverse the DRM policies. It's easy to misunderstand what they're saying when it comes to this because their movements are restricted. Take Major Nelson's interview with Angry Joe in E3.

Nelson came off as a huge jerk because it's his /job/ to defend the XBox and it's (then) policies. People like Boogie2988 have already even personally met with Nelson and said that the XBox One is an extremely fun entertainment system, and Nelson even agreed that he didn't necessarily like said DRM policies.

It's easy to try and find a bad guy in situations like this, but people take words that people say waaaay out of context sometimes.

Guys, this is not a thread for the Xbox One vs. Ps4 debate. This is not even a thread about consoles, period.

If you insist on spamming up my thread with an irrelevant argument, I will report you. So stahp.

Back on topic... Malak you make me sad. :(

One day...one day we will get our fill of more post-apocalyptic awesomesauce... but for now at least that gives me more time to play New Vegas ^^ (Yup, as big a fan of the Fallout series as I am, I still haven't played NV yet lol. I'll be buying the ultimate edition this Friday so ya....soon)
