Anonymous third party dev being the fancy term for generic contractor? This isn't all that surprising or unexpected. This is exactly how things work in IT. People in Business have no idea what they're talking about. No one knows the system they're working with in its entirety. No one really knows what actually needs to be done.

China didn't stop there, India fallen victim next. It received the same treatment as China, but on a much more permanent scale. The River Ganges were poisoned and contaminated with magically enhanced nuclear waste, turning the entire river into a gigantic nuclear reactor that went into meltdown. Aside from killing over 500 million from radiation effects alone, it also managed to completely sterilize 90% of India. With almost the entire Indian population essentially being the last of their kind, India collapsed and went into total anarchy unlike anything seen in history. But this would only be the start of what would be "The Great Collapse". The Ganges's effects didn't just affect India, it spread across all of South-East Asia including China.
