Slivers are cool, but I would never play them. There's just no appeal in it for me.

What I do like are Angels and, in a weird fit of contrast, Goblins. Angels are gorgeous and Goblins are funny, to me at least. I still think it would be cool to build a mono-Red Goblin deck, but the one I'm tinkering with right now is UR, just for creative purposes. I like messing with Sleep and Frost Breath in addition to the effects of the Goblins and the way they play off of each other. I like that Goblins can win a game before it even starts, so I kind of want to build a competitive Goblins deck, but that deck wouldn't last in a Circle match with three of my friends, so Blue helps a lot for stall and card utility. My Avacyn deck kicks butt in 1v1 but is lacking in Circle matches.

Now, Commander is a different story. I've been tinkering with my Grixis Commander deck a lot lately. It's pretty nifty. It's not very good yet, especially since I rely on hardcasting some big creatures without mana-ramping at all with Green or artifacts. Still, it's good fun, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is funny.

Gemhide would sneak a Queen in.

"Hi, my name is Gemhide Sliver. When I'm out, mana and colors mean absolutely nothing!"

"Hi, I'm Gemhide Sliver. What's the big deal about Birds of Paradise?"

"Hi, I'm Gemhide Sliver. I let other slivers through because all my opponents are saving that burn and counter-spell for me!"

    I love that little guy.

Played Commander with a couple buddies last night and actually won. Never going to happen again.

Oops. It's even better if no one paid any attention when Ghostflame came out or you flash him in.
Let me guess- another broken-ass sliver that's going to screw us over somehow? It's not like we can counter it, you have that BROKEN one [Root Sliver] out!

<.< They refuse to play against my slivers, I need a Karona to pose as a commander. I could probably trick them into playing once.

No suspects Ghostflame Sliver to do...anything.

Root was always a sideboard sliver for me, mainly because if my opponent isn't playing with counters then it's worthless. Now Crystalline Sliver. That is one that probably should costed more than 1W1U.

I loved my expanding wall of 0/1 flyers that couldn't die in combat and could be sacrificed to deal damage

    ROCKET-POWERED TURBO SLUG!

Also, I don't know if anyone has been following the "Born of the Gods" spoilers, but we're getting some super cool multicolored legendary creatures next set, as well as the first UG Planeswalker ever!

    EDIT: here she is:

Apparently her backstory is that she's from Zendikar, where the Eldrazi are still stomping around.

I have 2 Ravnica guild pact decks I've built. One a little more... modern in shape. My Gruuls (red/green) and my Izzets (red/blue). As you can tell I love dishing out tons of damage in a short amount of time :3

    My Gruul's are as follow:
    4x Experiment One
    4x Ghor-Clan Rampager
    4x Rubblebelt Maaka
    x3 Skarrg Guildmage
    4x Rakdos Cackler
4x Rubblehulk (one foil which is my inspiration for my deck. Thank you Gatecrash starter deck :3)
    4x Zhur-Taa Druid
1x Hamletback Goliath (really should be two but meh)
1x Cinder Elemental (for emergency defense AND burn)

    Instants/Sorcery's

x1 Phytoburst (for a little "Umph" when I'll need it)
x1 Fireball (should have 2 but I'm broke)
    2x Predator's Rapport
    2x Naturalize

    Artifacts

    1x Quicksilver Amulet (foil)
    1x Hammer of Purphoros
    2x Gruul Cluestone
    2x Gruul Keyrune

    Planeswalker(s):
Xenagos, the Reveler (foil pull woop!)

    Land

    8x Forest
    7x Mountain
    1x Snow-Covered Mountain
    3x Temple of Abandon

    Now for my Izzet's

    1x Melek, Izzet Paragon
    4x Mercurial Chemister
    4x Frostburn Weird
    4x Goblin Electromancer
    3x Nivix Cyclops
    2x Hypersonic Dragon
    2x Spellheart Chimera
    2x Nivix Guildmage
    2x Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius
    1x Young Pyromancer
    1x Archaeomancer
    1x Charmbreaker Devils
    1x Sealock Monster
    1x Shriekgeist
    1x Breaching Hippocamp

    Instants/Sorcery's

4x Turn/Burn (Fuse card, in case you're wondering)
    2x Thassa's Bounty
    1x Dissolve
    1x Cancel
    1x Dreadwaters
    1x Curse of the Swine
    1x Essence Backlash

    Artifacts/Enchantments

    1x Darksteel Ingot
    1x Aether Spellbomb
    1x Chronic Flooding

    Planeswalker(s)

Ral Zarek (gift from a friend. Friendship is *snort* magic!)

    Land

    4x Izzet Guildgate
    8x Mountain
    8x Island

And that about sums up my decks. If anyone would like to suggest some build structures or things in that regard, or just need some pointers, just ask/tell!

That's funny; the two Commander decks I built today, before I even read your post, are U/B/R (Grixis) and B/R/G (Jund), and your decks have 2/3 of each of those colors. Weird coincidence. Your decks both seem like they would perform very solid in Circle matches (60 card multiplayer) and the only things I would suggest are editing them to be more consistent (when you have the time/finances, I understand not everyone can do that all the time) and adding in a little more land to the Izzet deck, it seems to have an odd mana curve for only having 20 lands.

Dudes. The next Duel Deck iteration has been revealed.

People keep saying Jace looks like Arin Hanson. I don't see it; not enough chins, I say. In other news, Jace and Vraska sell online for $20 and $8-$10, respectively. So, those two cards alone, out of the 120 that come with the decks, are worth more than the deck. Heck yeah, I'm buying this for an MSRP of $20. Worth it for two bumpin' circle decks.

I got a black/white deck of my own making but I ahve one card that I feel a bond with. I don't know why, its not my strongest or has the best ability, but since I saw it I was like "This must go in my deck... FOORRRREEEEVVVVVVEEERRRRR...."

    Its this one:

    - - Auto Merge - -

darn it didn't work... I'll try linking it[IMG]

    Cards I base decks on:
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

All of these resulted in completely useless decks that are incredibly fun to annoy people with.

Yeah, I actually think Valor is a pretty good card. If you can buff your creatures enough, first strike becomes mega-abusable.

    Dovescape is crazy.

I'm interested in basing some decks (one or two) on one to the Theros Gods from the last two sets (as well as the upcoming set).

I'm building an eldrazi deck currently, except with a twist; instead of featuring any legendary eldrazi, it runs the single most terrifying and unnecessary creature I could think of as a target for eldrazi conscription: Blightsteel Colossus.

This obviously isn't intended as a serious deck.

That looks crazy. I guess Orzhov is going to dominate...

I actually used both Blightsteel Colossus and Emrakul in my old Eldrazi deck. Colossus is really fun in casual play.
