Original Trilogy here too. PS; Han totally shot second yo. It's funny, actually, I was just playing Super Star Wars. Wow, that sandcrawler stage. And man did this game need some sort of save function. Like, a password system. A Password system would be Perfect.
i know #rused Does anybody actually Genuinely believe otherwise? It wouldn't make sense for Greedo to have missed at that distance. The later version's silly
I used to be addicted to Star Wars almost ten years ago. I admit that I still like it, but the whole prequel "Period" between Episode 2 & 3 is just pointless filler for the kiddies in the Clone Wars saga. I'm happy that Rebels is back in the Original period, but...you know what Disney is like with teenage protagonists. Figures crossed that it's actually any good. Also, I cannot ignore this monstrosity.... Spoiler: the monstrocity
>Nobody votes Greedo >Thrashy's faith in humanity increases by 5 Anyway, I'm mostly just a fan of the original trilogy. I don't have the same burning hatred for the prequel trilogy that many do, but I find those films to be generally boring and unappealing to look at with the obvious CGI look of everything. And the way too choreographed lightsaber duels. I've also seen a bit of The Clone Wars, and while I'm really not a fan its blocky, robotic animation aesthetic, the story seemed okay-ish for what little I caught. Might still check it out in greater depth if anyone recommends.
Is nobody else going to talk about the glaring plot holes in Return of the Jedi? 1. There can only be two Sith at one time. An Apprentice, and a Master. Darth Vader, as the Apprentice, knows this. Despite that, the Emperor, the current master, talks about making Luke his new Apprentice while Darth Vader is standing right next to him. 2. The Emperor called the Stormtroopers on Endor "an entire Legion of my best troops." Despite this, they were defeated by A BUNCH OF F**KING TEDDY BEARS WITH STICKS AND ROCKS!!! 3. Boba Fett, the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, dies by accident. 4. "What I've told you is true... from a certain point of view" -Obi Wan Kenobi 5. If Leia had "always known" that Luke was her brother, why the hell did she kiss him on the Death Star?
Those aren't plotholes. They're moments of plot-induced stupidity. Also: Just on the Death Star? :Trollestia:
I thought she kissed him in the Hoth med bay. And I always roll my eyes at people who claim Disney will ruin Star Wars. Disney's just paying the bills. They know not to mess with something already guaranteed to print money. Disney took over Marvel, and The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, etc. movies have all been fantastic.
*sees screaming Catbug in the siggy* Not sure how to respond to that, actually - - Auto Merge - - I watched "Spider-Man" religiously back in the '90s, so I was actually enjoying this new show at first. Ya know.. until they started butchering key story elements, such as claiming that Venom is not an alien creature but actually a weird, distilled collection of negativity from Spider-Man's DNA e_e. I lost interest after that one. - - Auto Merge - - Knowledge is knowing that Han shot first. Wisdom is knowing this information without being a preachy jerk about it. Always loved "Star Wars", watched the original series for the first time when I was about 5 or 6, got hooked instantly. Sadly, I was born too late to ever see the originals in the theater, so you can imagine how psyched I was to see "Episode I" in the theater Seriously, that gets way too much hate :/ "Episode II" is actually my least favorite. Actually, there's a far worse crime that we're not addressing. One I find to be even more offensive than the Han/Greedo-shooting-first debacle. When the prequels came out on Blu-Ray and they replaced a masterfully puppeteered Yoda with a CGI Yoda.. Pourquoi?! Why would they do that?
