I have a friend (omg), and I'm looking for good PS2 games to play with 'im. PS1 games welcome. PS3 games not welcome, but begrudgingly accepted, if you really must. Ps4 games = Get out. Okay, 321GO. -Dead or Alive 2- One of my favourite fighting games on the system. -Tekken Tag Tournament- Not as silly as it sounds, though it does have this one bowling game. A good fighter, to play against your friend or to co-operatively go through Arcade with. You can go one-on-one, too, instead of forming tag teams. -007 Nightfire- Obviously. A pretty good first person shooty splatoopy game. Ticks all boxes. -Time Splitters Future Perfect- An FPS which tries to be funny with it's wacky characters an punny puns, but usually it just isn't. What can be humorous is the Arcade Vs play, which can end out with some pretty ridiculous situations. My favourite game is probably infection, which has you running away from hordes of people on fire, avoiding coming into contact with them at all costs. Last man standing wins. -Wipeout Fusion- Awwwwwwww, this game. Just. Just this game. This. Game. This game, right here. Now you. (pls)
SOUL CALIBUR 3! Damn game is just freaking awesome! Not only is there the option of playing the game normally but you can also do what I do with the game's custom character campaign. Each player is assigned a character in your squad. When they enter a duel, they play it until it returns to the psudo-RTS thing. That's a lot of fun. By far, the best Soul Calibur made so far.
My childhood wishes to speak with you, Dodo. Three was awesome. Four was also very good, unfortunate that the one that 'shall-not-be-named' that came after basically ruined the whole franchise.
Umm...I liked Soul Calibur V. It's just no Soul Calibur III. The amount of stuff to do and complete in that game was immense in my experience of one-on-one fighters. There's weapon, costume and custom character item unlocks; A custom character system that's been unparalleled in the series so far, memorable characters a plenty, a custom character campaign that comes as a welcome change of pace from the normal story mode and these damn challenges, some more insane and irritating than the last! Soul Calibur III is just the best in terms of the balance between characters and content. Everything after, if I might be come a little snobby for a second, can only beat it in terms of visuals. And even then, it's pretty close. It's the PS2 and it just looks damn good even today!
I thought that V was ok with some of the newer features and that, plus they brought back some of my favorite characters, it's just that I didn't like much of the new characters. Every inch of my fiber absolutely hates Patroklos. Not to mention that even on the easiest setting, Legendary Souls was absolutely brutal. Customization was a massive boost in the series, so I agree with you there. But other than that, it's not as balanced and overall 'memorable' as III was
Yes! This I agree with. Although, I'm not sure you're meant to really side with Patroklos entirely. He was a little bit of a prat, let's be frank here. Anyway, back on topic: Ratchet and Clank 3: The multiplayer in this is clunky but I always found it pretty enjoyable. While the bots are a little witless if you're playing locally, I remember enjoying it regardless. It's fun, mad and has a decent selection of weapons from the original game to mess around with. Even better are the vehicles that you can use to dominating effect across the battlefield. But this is Ratchet and Clank! Expect something utterly remorseless to slam into you right back if you're not careful.
