I know this isn't exactly a fresh topic but I figured that we all can talk about our fave Elder Scrolls games here. It's not strictly limited to one game but ESO is one I'd not encourage discussing unless you find it necessary to bring it up. So discuss away. Which is your fave? -Arena -Daggerfall -Morrowind -Oblivion -Skyrim
I have been summoned. I've played all five, and I'd have to say that my favorite is Skyrim. It's the first game in the series where the technology comes close to catching up with the storytelling potential. Also, you misspelled Morrowind. Twice.
Actually, Yeah. Come to think of it, the tech is a lot more impressive looking. Sorry about that. My brain is working off sound more than spelling and I make stupid mistakes like that. I sadly cannot change the poll's spelling for it, but I did fix the spelling for the it in the post.
Also, apparently there's a mod in the works that turns Skyrim into a cartoon. http://www.polygon.com/2015/8/9/9123881/skyrims-latest-mod-tours-a-cartoon-like-tamriel
Not to *squee!* on the efforts being made, but I think I maybe happier just playing Skyrim. Though it would be interesting to see where this cartoony spin will go. God, now I have Pegasus's Toon World Deck thing in my head. Ridley is just pointing out the errors in spelling. If he wanted to be mean, he could slap in some 'insulting one's intelligence' as well.
I'm referring to Yu-Gi-Oh actually. Maximillion Pegasus has a deck that is strictly all toons along with the infamous Toon World field spell card. I assume they would be. But I just like Skyrim with the additional downloads of Dragonborn, Dawngaurd, and Hearthfire. Dawngaurd being one of my personal faves for sure. Fricken life drain as a Vampire Lord is warranted Me Gusta~ Especially since the mantel encourages draining life to level it up and get godly power upgrades.
I prefer the werewolf form. It's the same basic principle for upgrades, but instead of draining victims with a spell, you tear them apart with your bare claws and EAT THEIR F**KING HEARTS.
I'll agree that the Werewolf is the better option if you want a transformation that cost nothing practically to become. You get a lot of resistances and you pretty much become a juggernaut just with the transformation alone. Speaking of Juggernauts, I am loving the Flame Cloak right now on my Mage file. I merely cast it and I hardly have to do anything with weaker enemies. Also since I can use Bound Sword at it's full power, that plus Flame Cloak pretty much makes me unstoppable.
I usually go for the battlemage characters, with full perks to Smithing and Enchanting, plus perks for one handed swords and fire spells. I tend to use enchanted light armor to keep myself quick and mobile, with a flame spell for ranged attacks and a sword with absorb life and absorb magicka enchantments to keep me in the fight without needing potions. If I ever get swarmed, I use my Unrelenting Force shout to scatter the enemies long enough to go werewolf.
Also, as a werewolf, you are basically inmune to sickness, so it becomes way easier fight the vampires in the downgaurd dlc. I like going like, heavy armor, one handed and block, as well as smith and restoration. It basically makes me a tank. Is just annoying at early, but the horse stone kind of helps. I also get alchemy every now and then to stack a lot of pots.
The Steed Stone is Best Pony. Also, I find it immensely satisfying to use my werewolf form to finish off Harkon.
The funny thing is both basic Vampire and Vampire Lord give you Disease Resistance too. I do get that being in the sun weakens you, plus having a Fire Weakness that gets stronger the longer you don't feed, but there are items to help manage that. I'm very technical with items as a Vampire Lord due to the weaknesses that can screw you over when not careful.
