I've pre-loaded it on steam and am waiting for the clock to strike 00:00, any other ponies pumped for it?
You have no idea. First thing I'm doing is traveling as far east as I can. Zephyr will be taking the west. We made a deal.
I'm shaking with excitement!!! I think I'll just mess around with the character editor for a good 30 minutes, then play up to the first dragon fight, sadly I do have work in the morning so will have to drag myself away in due course!! I usually go delf, what about everyone else?
Imperial Mage with some stealth and archery or maybe a high elf. I have to go to work on friday, so I can't play nonstop. I plan on hiding from dragons. They look mean.
Okay, I've never played Elder Scrolls, but this hype as caught my attention. From an unbiased view, can anyone explain/convince me why I should buy this game? Is it worth buying if I've never played the others? Bear in mind, I enjoy games based on the settings and story, mostly.
The world is possibly the closest I've seen to a real world. If you want a setting then this is the game to get. The world is full of things to do. You can pick up things about the world in the little details. Such as people talking, books or exploring. The game does have a main story. The story of the dragons returning, but almost anything can be turned into a story. I cave you see could hold many secrets. The mountain, climbing is it's own story. If you have specific questions. I'd be happy to try and answer them.
I'll be playing Dark Souls. Mkaybai. I has no monies for Skyrim. Too many upcoming games, not enough monies. :derpe:
I have darksouls too :: on xboxy, what's your tag (if your on xbox version) dashie?? And Lupr, basically... It's an RPG... You can do pretty much anything... Except fable like stuff (kids/marriage). Idk. It's really a play it to know it kinda thing...
No-one else going to run in everywhere with a broadsword and hack all them annoying High-Elf's to death? I'm arone again. Also why wait for it to unlock? Use a VPN like I do. Get a 1 week head-start on DRD if you do. :Trollestia:
I heard a rumor about marriage and kids. They kinda hinted at it. I'm gonna say that it isn't in though.
If it was, I'd be one of the few who'd actually appreciate it, I think Bethesda are smart enough to know that every other person on the planet would whine about how they've ruined it and make it like Fable. Exactly the same reason it's still missing multiplayer -___-
I have it for PS3 D:!!!!!! Also, if you have a PS3 or just want to add your gamertag to my list, go to my stickied thread on the Games sub-forum. Add yourself to the list if I haven't done so already. If Skyrim had multiplayer or PvP like Dark Souls, I would get it. Then again too many games, not enough money... Even though you did get a 1 week headstart on BF3, I've already passed you on rank, and pretty much semi-maxed out. Currently Rank 45... the requirements for next rank have moved from 80k to 220k exp... Meh, I might go back to Dark Souls and just finish beating the game. I had too much fun just PvP'ing with my OP character.
Fable wasn't all bad. They just have to learn to shut up Peter. I don't care though. I shall have the game in 12 hours. Sleep is taking priority and no midnight releases. Thanks Modern warfail.
If any Bethesda game had MP, then I wouldn't touch it. I'm guessing it would become the next 'WoW' to a degree. Just thankful that Project v13 is being made by InterPlay and not Bethesda. That game will be atrocious. EDIT: @ DRD : You've spent more time on it. I mean, I didn't play it for a whole weekend! :O! And many other days (Such as today).
Oh me too! I mean, I spent so much time revising for this Computing Exam. On a related note, I may just go mage and freeze everyone on my first play-through. :3
I was wondering when there'd be a topic about this. I'll probably get the game when there's a port for Mac available. Also, 9 minutes left.
Pixel to the East, I to the West. I'll be either a Redguard or an Imperial named Zephyr Felzen. He hates magic, so I won't use any. This is gonna be fun.
I'll get the game for Christmas/Birthday I guess... my treat... I want to see what all the hype is about. :derpe:
Me too, this is my first Elder Scrolls game. Hopefully the west won't be a jagged wasteland infested with dragons, with no village in sight.
