It's a really good remaster though there's a lot of work. it's mainly for console people, seeing as there is gonna be mod support for console.
yeah, anyone with a good enough PC anyway. if they were gonna do older Elder scrolls games, I'd kinda like redo rather then just a remaster. or at least a really in depth remaster down to the bare bones of the engine and the mechanics.
The thing is that Bethesda has been using the same engine since Morrowind technically, and is still able to provide what the latest releases offer. When it comes to graphics, mods have still got you covered there. Since it's the same engine and such, things like mechanics shouldn't be too difficult to alter. OpenMW might be something to watch, regardless.

Sony has officially allowed mods for Skyrim Remastered and Fallout 4 on the PS4. It's said that mod support for Skyrim will come out for it when it's released October 28th. The same will happen for Fallout 4's release on the PS4.
So this past Sunday, I finally took the plunge and got a PS4 and Skyrim Special Edition!!! Gotta say, this game was TOTALLY worth the wait!!! Me and my girl Marina be havin' some cray-cray adventures, YO!!!!
