    Adding my two cents to this: Ellipses are meant to indicate long pauses. If a person takes more than a handful of seconds to get to the next sentence, a single period isn't going to cut it.
    
    That being said, there's something to be said for moderation.

Welcome to my profile! Right now, I don't feel like writing a huge novel about myself, so feel free to read some facts about me.
- My favourite genres of music are nu metal, alternative rock and pop punk, but I also generally tend to listen to whatever my ears like.
- I've been a brony since mid-2011, though I've only been watching the show since early 2012.
- I'm currently in my fourth year of college.
- Linkin Park is my favourite band.
- I write and produce my own music. Think Breaking Benjamin meets Linkin Park meets Killswitch Engage (or something to that effect) and you have my music project. There's a link in my profile if you're interested.
- Twilight Sparkle is my favourite pony and you will never be able to dissuade me from that opinion.
- I have what I like to call the Shelf of Interesting Items. Such items on there are a Disturbed vinyl, a Japanese copy of Luigi's Mansion and a signed Machine Head CD.
- Playing instruments (guitar and drums are my forte) is my number one hobby.
- Since 2013, I've been collecting CDs and have amassed over 150 CDs so far. When I search, I normally look to see if there are any compilations from Kerrang! magazine. I know this hobby is so 2001, but there you go.
