I can't afford PS, I'm trying to save up for a music editing program to make pony songs (a Pony version of Lighters), and I'm nowhere near internet-savvy to figure out how to go past the 600x150 requirements.

A little snow is fine, but much more than a couple of inches is over rated. Feh! I'm not looking forward to winter. I'm moving to Death Valley after this! Well, for at least six weeks. It'll take that long to bake the cold out of me, I think. Then I'm moving back to the Bay Area where they have normal weather. And as long as I'm wishing for things, I'll wish I was a pony in Equestria!

Sometimes, it feels like two kinds of weather - hot and cold. Not much inbetween. Can't think of the last time there was a sustained period of temps in the 70's. And sometimes we get lots of snow, and sometimes hardly any. I'm a big fan of "hardly any."

It's dryer, and the summer is shorter. If it gets hot in May, that's pretty good. Usually the first snows fall in October, although it's never much. January and February can be pretty miserably cold. The summer can have a couple of weeks of 90+ degrees, usually in July and August, although it's been pretty hot lately here, and a couple of times in the winter we've had three weeks where it never gets above 35. I used to like the winter, but not so much anymore. Other than snow, it doesn't rain much, but we used to get some pretty neat thunderstorms, although we just had one this year.

Acceleration. Velocity is distance over time in m/s, so acceleration is velocity over time in m/s^2 (meters-per-second-squared, or meters per second per second).

Hm. I just graphed it to myself, but lemme see if I'm understanding the question here.

Displacement is pretty much distance, right? Is the rider's starting position given? If it is, then yeah, that's a pretty simple step to calculate.
Velocity is distance over time, so it looks like the question is giving those to you directly (with the Y-coordinates being in m/s).
Acceleration is the differential of velocity, so it'd be the difference between the velocity at the previous time and the velocity at the current time, which I think you would also divide by the time delta.
And in one-dimensional physics, the distinction between speed and velocity is pretty trivial. Velocity will be negative if the displacement is negative, but speed is always positive.

Lemme know if any of that made sense. I could just be talking out my ass here, lol.
