In case you didn't see my Skype message from last night: Put back the House Icon Forum element, it removes the navigation links too, which I always use. AND Muffins is still blocked in chat. There's still 2 more entries to remove.
A user asked me why he couldn't edit his post to add in participants for a contest thing he's doing. I told him there is a time limit on editing posts and that he should ask a moderator to add in what he needed. Do you think you could increase the time limit (maybe to 2 weeks), or just remove it altogether? Don't see any harm in doing so.
Understandable. I think a simple data store that holds two varchar elements ought to be enough. One to hold the name and one to hold everything else. Roleplay Gateway have something far more complex that you could look into for their RPs if that helps.
Is it possible to attach a simple, small database to an RP thread every time a new IC RP is created? If at all possible, I'd like to replace the Character Sheets thread with a simple tool that could display that information in an easy to reach place. It may be possible to use that same information to show which character is being used in which post. It could make things easier on members there.
At work for another hour then off to home, waiting for Marina, aka TheMereMare, to get back online so we can keep going with our one on one RP again.
lol *looks down at bottom of forum* it says you're online. Anyways whats going on with you today/night?
Well one thing I'd need to know is, where it'll be shown. Do we put it on the existing *whistle* page or a new one? What do we do with the other player and which of the widgets from the panel do we want to use? I think a good round on skype would be the best idea. I got no problem with pushing the launch back but come brony day i'd like to have it open.
Yep, that's alright with me^^ On another note, can you give me sitrep on anything that needs doing in terms of 'you know what' ? I'll grab Zephyr and make some 1-2 lists then we're technically ready to go.
Hi Grey. Was the removal of "Users in Chat" at the bottom of the forums index intentional? I quite liked having that statistic of knowing who is in chat at a glance.
