Sorry, Other M just didn't work for me. Personally, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption did a much better job of what Other M set out to do; characterizing Samus. No monologues were needed and the cutscenes showing mostly body language brought the message through much more clearly than the drawn-out monologues in Other M.
That's not what's really preventing me from finishing the game another time: what happened to the attention to the environments? I could play the Primes over and over again without even having to do anything differently and still enjoy it. It's the richness of the environments one of those things that really gave the Prime Trilogy its edge as pretty much every room in those games look interesting. That's sort of a requirement for Metroid games if you ask me since part of the reward comes from entering and exploring new areas. With the Scan Visor and other stuff, almost every room has a story to tell.

I've been alright I guess. I'm just getting out of a pretty deep depressive episode. I've finished University for the year, just got a few exams and a Game Maker project to start and finish.
Other than that, I've been pretty stressed with uni work and assignments. So I can't wait to have everything done and have a 4.5 month long holiday. heh.

It's main problem is the camera and the crappy cover system. Everything else about it is pure gold. Best RE since 4. But nothing will trump 4.

Eeh, I was right. My emotions did nose dive into a crash but I'm beginning to pull myself up again.

Season 3's coming out next month. The fandom's been starving for new content. Pretty sure that we'll see the community coming back to life once new episodes begin to air. It's just like video game fandoms; it gets stagnant in between releases but once there is a new release, discussions, conversations and fan works abound!

As for EP itself, I no longer really care about the past. People come, people go, the community evolves... That's just the way all fandoms work. We're no exception.

I have no problem with that as long as it's fast and painless.

I always slack though, but I don't usually have fun. SO I've been half busy then. I haven't been the best really. Had to have another pet put to sleep and got rear ended the no more then 5 minutes later.
