they're a single unit not a squad unit i.e. Force Commander, Apothecary, Techmarine, or Farseer, Warp Spider Exarch, Warlock etc. they each have different wargear options i.e. Iron Halo, etc. and also act as an independent unit that can be revived by fellow Hero's or for a sum of Requisition points they can be revived at the command center.

If you do get it let me know, I'd like to either play with you or against you. I have very good tactics with the Eldar and I always use the Warp Spider Exarch hero for Eldar

and Eldar I love both of these races in 40k mainly because I can often complement their tactics with the others.
