I see your point. But there are a lot of other cities, that were really important during WW II. What about Saint Petersburg (Leningrad) and Volgograd (Stalingrad)?

Reason why I want to visit Kiev and Kursk in general is because these two towns where the site of full on tank battles, hardly any infantry participated in them.

Moscow I want to visit to see where both Napoleon and Hitler had to stop because of the Russian winter.

and I do agree with you on your intro, a lot of people look at Russia with bad looks and the gaming industry isn't really helping at all.
