I don't mean to sound rude, but I do kinda want to reccoemend a few fanfics to you because I sincerly believe that your missing out on what I personally think is one of the best aspects of this fandom. My Little Dashie is increadably overrated, but I do think you should at least check out a few more fanfics before getting put off by fanfics in general {Though a little bit of a heads-up: Most Human in equestria fics tend to suck, as you've noticed with MLD}. There's a few amount of good fanfics I can reccomend to you tommorow {Most of which also don't have OC's, so you won't have to worry about any Mary Sues at least :P}.

I even have a very good online friend of mine who's working on a shipping fanfic with the goal of keeping everyone In-Charector as much as possible and building up the relationship between the two ponys the fic primarily focuses on. It's a gigantic step-up from MLD at least.

I have seen male and female characters with the name Reiko. I think it is a nice name and I am used to responding to it.

I am a guy as well. I usually just picture most people in the pony community as gender neutral to avoid mistakes.

I'm 25 I like playing games and listening to music. I also want to be a game designer of some sort it used to be video games, but I think I would be better suited to making a card game. I also love to roleplay.
