So, earlier this year when news of a new Installment in the Borderlands Series hit, Naturally, being a fan of the previous 2 games I was hyped. This is just a thread for those who are interested. Now, a question. Out of the four characters shown so far, which is the most appealing to you? Personally, I'd like to play Wilhelm. I loved playing Axton and Roland, and Wilhelm has a similar ability to them.
So basically "all new" characters with the same abilities as characters in the previous games? That's kind of cheap, isn't it? :v
Well only two characters have had their abilities revealed, and Wilhelm is the only one to have resemblance to the abilities of previous characters. There were many more similarities between one and two. Character with a turret, Sniper Class, Tanky character with some sort of berserk mode, female support character. To be fair though if you were to show someone who didn't know what Borderlands was pictures of two and the pre-sequel, chances are they'd think it's the same game.
I wanna be Captain Pandora. I mean Athena. Funny how the "support" character ended up being the strongest in the game with the right set-up.
I want to play as Nisha, since I think the cowboy-type characters are cool. Only if you assume the abilities are identical, which they aren't. The classes are only made to have similar playstyles.
