Soooo, I just started playing Hearthstone, Blizzard's new online CCG. I've been having quite a fun time with it. It's not as deep or complex as Magic: The Gathering, but there's enough there to be very fun. I was wondering what everyone else thought of the game, because I'm really loving it.
I kind of sort of liked it, but i only played it enough to win the in-game mount for WoW. So far, WoW itself has been preventing me from taking the time to enjoy Hearthstone. They should integrate the card game into WoW so you can challenge players to a card game there. It'd make Hearthstone alot more popular. The only bad thing (i guess) i could say about the game is that it's not nearly as complex as other known cardgames. And once your opponent gets the upper hand, it's nearly impossible to turn it back around.
My only issue with it is that the game is Pay To Win. The time it takes to get any good cards is ridiculous unless you want to give Blizzard your cash. It's a giant WoW advertisement to begin with, but spending money to be victorious? No thanks. The game was a ton of fun when going against evenly matched players, but when I fight a warlock who likes to play his flesh trombone I nope out.
Actually, no, you are incorrect. A Hearthstone streamer by the name of Trump actually plays and wins with certain F2P decks.
Yeah, I usually don't enjoy games that involve luck, but this one really grew on me for some reason If anyone wants to play, I'm supernova141 #1872
