Is there any good free horror game out there i want to know? it has to have low settings and be scary not a little scary more like take a dump in your pants scary put a top 10 list down below. P.S no flash games
You could probably torrent Amnesia: the Dark Descent. Don't know many horror games for the PC. There's the Luna Game series, but it's not really scary scary I don't think.
Cry of fear (a half-life 2 mod) seems like a cool horror game (And, looking at the graphics, shouldn't take that much power to work). I suggest you play it (I'ven't played it, but surely have watched a "let's play" of it, and it was quite effective).

Cry of Fear, I shat my pants in the beginning and didn't touch the game a week later. You could try Afraid of Monsters, It's a Half Life 1 mod made by the same people the made Cry of Fear (Team Psykallar). You can also try SCP: Containment Breach, it has SCP 173 and a couple of more SCPs in there.
Outside of official games, Nightmare House 2 (Half Life 2), literally made me come close to ****ting my pants. And this is coming from a guy that is unaffected from playing Silent Hill/Dead Space in the dark.
Lone Survivor. The game's graphics are deliberately awful (a lot of static and pixelation, and the sprites look like something from the SNES era), but they serve to emphasize the sheer creepy weirdness of the game. The music, atmosphere, etc. is all deliciously eerie. It's also a side-scroller. I can't imagine why any modern computer wouldn't be able to play it. It's like an SNES Silent Hill game as interpreted by David Lynch, in other words.
