Like to sing but don't have the creativity to write your own songs? That's what karaoke is for! Sing along with your favorite songs and share your talent (be sure to share the original song as well!) Also please provide a link if you're embedding soundcloud in your post - some people such as myself can't listen to embedded soundcloud tracks for whatever reason. This is gonna be my kind of thread, since that's pretty much all I do. :derpe:
This is Yami's forte. He's really, really good. Seriously. Legit, Yami, have you considered going into singing as a career path?

Dude, we've known each other for 2 years now, and you still didn't know that was my plan from the start? I gave it up though. Once I thought about it, the idea of being a real singer was very off-putting.
Well I haven't really talked to you for a year or so now. It must have slipped my mind since we don't really keep in touch. Sorry. It's a shame that you gave up on it. You could always just create your own content so that you don't have to go through all the legal loopholes that come with being a 'real' singer.
Well, these bigtime music guys that are all famous and whatnot outside of just the internet all go through this contractual business deal nonsense. That can be quite a hassle. Rather than go through all that nonsense, you could always learn how to make your own music and be a self-employed musician. There are plenty of people who go down that road, and while it doesn't net you as much $ as being a bigtime contracted musician, it can get to be a decent pastime as well as something you can fall onto when you feel like doing something other than monotonous work all the time. In short, if it's all the hoops you have to jump through to be a 'real' singer or whatever it's called that is discouraging you from going that way, you can always go independent. Less risk involved, and you still do something you enjoy while getting rewarded for it.
It's not so much the hoops, though there is that too. It's more the traveling and fame that comes with being a successful musician. I'm a hermit by nature, so those prospects are unpleasant. You're right about being a self-made musician, though. I could do that at home, but sadly I lack the creativity or know-how. Also, wait, when did Saikyo start listening to my stuff?
