Only to make sure you have a good soundcard as well.. Just a good mic will only get so far if you have a poor soundcard.

    loljk Bad joke. :derpe:

I am probably no the best person to talk to, considering that I use a mic from Big Lots, but I would look around websites that sell microphones, or even a big superstore's website. From there you can read reviews and shenanigans like that.

Another factor that goes in deciding your microphone is what you are going to use it for. If you are just going to chat with friends on Skype or something like that, then get a decent/average mic, however, if you are going to record your own music or show, get a fancy one.

hence I need some model names. Gonna use it for mostly voice acting and commentaries.

what is an example of decent/average mic? those sites tend to just recommend everything to you.
