It was a cold, night, a blizzard was currently hitting the sleepy town of Meadow Hoof, where our heroin arrives; The clouds parted letting a dark purple beam shoot from the center, the screams of ponies running in utter fear and cowering colts and fillies in they're houses...Untill the beam dispersed into an large egg shaped clear orb; this orb was NOT unicorn magic and thatwas for sure; which made everypony cower in fear more... Moonwicks POV Just as i thought; she landed limply on the snowy ground of Meadow Hoof, just as planned, the snow was still heavy but it had calmed down a bit; i trotted over to her body and wrapped her around one of my wings "...Mmpfh...Blrrgh..." she moaned and i took her to Meadow-Hoof-Inn, and set her on her bed gently as i awaited her awakening. Ben's POV I felt myself in a warm blanket, and gentle breathing next to me, wait, what is going on? I just ended up in what i assumed to be a bed?! Grraa! Great, i need to get outta here. I stumbled off the bed my legs wobbly as i tried to stand. "You need more rest." A feminine voice said "N-no way! I gotta get outta her--AAAHH!" i whined as i sliped and fell face-first "Told you." she said and helped me back up, she was a pure black mare with yellow hair and red eyes she was fairly pretty too. "I am Moonwick, i will be teaching you to be a top-notch necromancer; i say you're the most powerfullest pony ever to plummet to equestria." she explained "Oh okay cool--WAIT DID YOU JUST SAY PLUMMET?!" "Shh! Keep your voice down! We can't let anypony hear us! You broke through the earths atmosphere when you were 1 months old, then you were 2 when you broke through the clouds you were 13 when you suspected as a northen star and you were 16 when you plummeted, which is now." She explained I whimperd and poked my ear "What about this?" I asked "You're a cross between a cannine and a earth pony." "Oh great! Uh, Moonwick, can you explain a bit more? I'm at a loss here." I begged and she sighed "I would if i could, thats for you to find out on your own; one year of necromancy should make you unlock your true potential." She said and i sulked "Can you AT LEAST tell me where i am?" "Meadow Hoof, its 10 miles away from ponyville, we have to pass through ponyville to get to Besthemythia's Lullaby, which is were our gulid lies." she said with a smile "Okay, anything else?" i asked. "Necromancers and any type of Necromancey is hated in ponyville and canterlot, i know canterlot has a pub we can rest at. Oh and wear this hooded cloak please, it will protect your identity." she said, and i happily obliged putting it on and flipping the hood on "Ta-da!" i sang and Moonwick put her cloak and hood on "Great, i like your enthusiasm, lets get moving before the snow gets any worse." she said Normal POV and the two mares left the inn going to ponyville, they came across a mountain path that could be used as a short-cut "Hey Moonwick, what's my name?" the white pony curiously asked "Last time i checked we thought you were another male so we named you 'Ben'" she said looking around the area with her eyes while walking "Ben?! But i'm a girl! Aw man..." she pouted and Moonwick chuckled then said "We don't get many females that come plummeting." "Huh? You mean ALL the new gulid members are just as confused as me?" she asked and Moonwick nodded "Yes, they are, and they get guides--like me, i'm your guide, since we assumed you were male i was assigned to you, we rarely get a female member with a female guide and vice versa." she explained "We could assign you to a male guide if that makes you comfortable." she said "Nah! I think i'm already liking you!" she said happily "Excellent, you'll need to get used to me very soon." she said and stopped mid-walk and scanned the area with her eyes "Whats wrong?" she asked "Dodge horizontally." she said quickly and she did just as she said as an arrow narrowly missed her "G-gah!" she whined and Moonwick fliped up the moutain easily killing the bandit filping gracefully back down "You need to improve your 6 senses." she said and the two contiued to walk to ponyville as the white pony shiverd in fear. (Yes, i did use Skyrim as a mini-inspiration!!! That's all i wanted to say)
With Friends Like These...(Part 2) Normal POV "Ulgh..." The white mare moaned "Something bothering you?" she asked. "Y, yeah! What wouldn't be?! First its night! Second its STILL freezing! Thrird...MY TAIL IS BUGGING M---" She began to rant and her words went through one of Moonwicks ears and out the other as they walked down the mountain onto a dirt road which wasn't very visible in the harsh snow "We're almost there." "To the gulid?!" "No, ponyville, the moon shifts whenever you step hoof near it." she explained. "S-seriously?! Thats AMAZING! How did they get it to do th--" "Princess Luna, otherwise known as--in folk tales--Nightmare Moon." she said, "Oh...Er, okay i guess..." the mare mumbled, as Moonwick chuckled "Don't worry, just when we go into canterlot avoid the royal guard, a pink pony with a curled mane, and Celestia." she commanded. "W-wait! We'll be splitting up?!" She whined, "Why, yes. Only for three minutes." she said while the white pony whined "Unless you can't last THREE minutes without supervision..." she sighed after. "N-no! I can! And i will! Let's go!" She said eagerly. "Oh, sometimes i wonder if...Hm..." she trailled off. At Ponyville... "Woah! Look at all th--" "Ben! Now if your going to be loud-mouthed might as well go to the inn instead of browsing! Hmph, now don't talk to anypony, unless THEY are the sellers of the goods your BROWSING remember that your BROWSING! No buying as i do not want nor need YOU to buy nercromancer despisers goods THEN show up at the gulid and USE them. Have i might myself clear?" She sternly explained while Ben just gulped "Have i, made myself, CLEAR?" she asked almost yelling "Y-yeah! Okay! No talking no buying!" she answered almost instantly, "Good! Remember we meet back here in THREE minutes." she said and walked away leaving Ben. "Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Let's socialize!!! I'm sure they won't see my face again! She's over reacting!" She thought and trotted about ponyville--hood off. (Okay, this was beyond short. I'm sorry! I'll make a longer one as SOON as i wake up tommorrow! Happy New Years too! )
