I read it, It was lucky I read it at work, things like that have an effect on me. It gave me an idea for the remaining 5, stories like cupcakes but unique in the fact that it would relate to the individuals.
Ugh, I felt like throwing up when I read it; it was the first time that I felt sorry for a fictional character, and made me question bronies; this was before I was one. I had nightmares for weeks. Not fun. But it's a good read if you like that type of stuff...
ive only gotten through half of it due to the fact that im really emotionally sensitive about that sort of thing. it actually left me really depressed with constant images running through my head, though i did get over it by coming up with some crazy alternative plot twist which actually made me feel a whole lot better and helped me move on. i dont mind anyone eles who likes that sort of thing and i dont mind fan art, i understand that others like that sort of thing and nothing can change that (this goes the same for sweet apple massacre)
To be honest, Cupcakes doesn't really scare me. I mean, it's messed up and all, but it's not really as bad if you've already read much, MUCH worse fics out their {Sweet apple massacre anyone?}. Also, if RD were to find out about this fic, she'd get mad for two reasons. The first being that it makes Pinkie Pie look bad, and the second one being that she'd probably say that "It makes me look like a total wimp", just because that's something I can picture her saying.

Hug ensues. 2inkie and Dash are on the internet at Pinkies house reading fanfics.they found cupcakes read it.are scarred,and go to beat up the author.Hilarity ensues.
(This thread is kind of old.) It's a shock fic that's not meant to be taken seriously, hence all of the jokes and humor embedded in it. Somehow, it's had a profound affect on many people, but it has spawned a significant amount of fanworks centered around it--good and bad, or light and dark. I've never read any of the alternate endings, but I remember a comic of one depicting Rainbow Dash holding and consoling a visibly shaken and upset Pinkie Pie, cooing that it was just a bad dream, she's fine, and everything is ok. I don't believe it's one I saved, though.
I think I remember seeing someone with an avatar that sounds similar to that a couple of months ago... Can't remember who it was though. ...Maybe PrinceDarkmoon? I'm really not sure. Edit: Yeah, PrinceDarkmoon. Here's the image: Is that it? Always liked that bit of art, it's nicely done.
