This is a thread to discuss your favorite indie games for the mobile platform. Please try to include the OS and the price if you can. (Also, try not to include minecraft or clash of clans or anything that likely everyone knows about) I'll kick it off... A Dark Room... A very simple 99 cent game for iOS that has a very simple interphace that makes this a deceptively great game. It's a city builder/adventure game with a button interface that is very similar to text-based adventure games. It provides a truly unique experience that I would say is worth more than 99 cents.
http://www.badlandgame.com/ Definitely one of the best mobile games out there, for iOS and Android. Badland has both free (with ads only after a level is completed) and paid versions. It combines a single control with a rich atmosphere, beautiful graphics, smooth gameplay, a few puzzle elements. The object is simple: you are a bird who must travel to survive. Many obstacles will try to block, crush, or slice you on your quest. On your trip, you will find many powerups to make you grow, shrink, speed up, slow down, grow sticky burrs, bounce like a ball, or, most importantly, spawn clones to aid in your survival. Use these clones to solve puzzles or run through dangerous traps with a higher chance of 1 surviving; the game can be quite shocking in this manner. I'm not going to babble to much more on it. I highly recommend it. After all, it's free.
