http://screenrant.com/captain-america-hydra-evil-explained/ There are spoilers if your one of the few that read Captain America still. Dear god Marvel what the hell is wrong with you? @Ridley Wolf you see this yet?
What the actual mother*squee!*ing hell is this *squee!*?! Here I thought Nick Spencer was just mind-numbing, window-licking, pants-*squee!*ting STUPID, and it turns out he's actually just destructively insane! This. This *squee!* here. Crap like this is why all of Marvel's main titles have been *squee!* lately. When a Howard the Duck comic tells a more cohesive and sensible story than one of your core titles, you've got a *squee!*ing problem. It's about goddamn time for Marvel to bring in new writers. And then maybe have the current ones hauled away to the home for the criminally insane. Basically, *squee!* this guy with a rusty pipe. And I don't mean that figuratively. I literally want a rusty pipe to be shoved up Nick Spencer's ass until he dies from internal hemorrhaging. *squee!* him. *squee!* whoever gave him permission to do this. *squee!* that *squee!*ing *squee!*er with all the *squee!*ed-up *squee!*s *squee!*ing possible.
This is the understatement of the *squee!*ing century. Marvel is beyond *squee!*ed up and we have Hollywood to thank for that mostly. If people have only now noticed how *squee!*ed Marvel's movies are, they really are not paying attention. This *squee!* is just getting stupid, but honestly I'm just waiting for the movies to either fizzle out or get good. The latter being pretty much impossible now because of people being stupid enough to actually go see these movies for nostalgia alone, ignoring the obvious. Or it could be new *squee!*s who are only getting into superheros because of the god awful *squee!* being cranked out. Eh, either way it's all going to crash down sooner or later.
The movies are their own continuity. So long as you accept that, they're not that bad. They're far from perfect but they're not that bad I've enjoyed more of them than I've disliked, but that's just me. I grew up reading comics. I can respect the Marvel Marvel movies. I can't respect the Fox Marvel movies. They're getting better, but their story telling is all over the map. The movies have introduced some nice stuff to the comics and some things they took from the movies have been silly. They killed the original Nick Fury to introduce his son that looks like the Movie one. They decided Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver after all this time to change aren't the kids of Magneto. That's BS considering they went to all the trouble to make Quicksilver look like Magneto. As for cool things the movies introduced, well Colson at least...
I just watched all those floating hands things again, it had been so long. My favorite thing has to be Wolverine having a Canadian accent. And I just look at the movies like they are an alternate universe.
They literally are in an alternate universe. Marvel's main continuity is centered on Earth-616. The MCU is set on Earth-199999. Our world, for the record, is Earth-1218.
Didn't they also make Magneto, the Holocaust survivor, a Nazi? I've seen people say some stuff about how, "Hydra aren't Nazis" and I'm not that into comics, but it doesn't really take a genius to see the god damn Nazi imagery.
In the comics Hydra is Nazi's. In the Movie universe Hydra is older than the Nazi's. They still worked with the Nazi, but that was just a faction. The older more pure faction still worked on getting the Hydra god back to earth.
