You should. You can't honestly pretend to have a controversial opinion just to appear controversial. It's dishonest, and rather than make you polarizing, it just kinda annoys everybody.
I've already said why and instead of accepting and respecting my opinion, and using common sense, everyone wants to bash it instead. I'm tired of it. So I'm choosing to just not respond at all instead.
It's bashing. Plus insulting. I'm not taking the *squee!* anymore and reporting doesn't do any good and I've been warned already. I'm not responding. End of story.
We all tried, Lost. Every single person on this site tried to be nice about this *squee!*. And you abused that kindness, over and over. You just can't LET IT GO! We all know your opinions. YOU know that most of us disagree. But instead of respecting OUR opinions and agreeing to disagree, you somehow got it into your head that anyone who disagreed was your enemy!
I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we're sick of the victim act. This site runs better when its members get along, and right now, we're all having trouble getting along with you.
If you really want to part of this site, that's great! Do your best to get along with others, even if that means sometimes keeping your mouth shut for the sake of keeping the peace. If you can do, please, stay. Be a part of the community. We'd love to have you stick around.
But if you're unwilling or unable to show us the same consideration that we showed you for far longer than you deserved, than please just leave. You're not being controversial. You're being toxic.
