OK, so this thread is for you to post reviews of some of your CDs!

This Year I have bought 2 new releases; Temper Temper by Bullet for My Valentine and Hail to the King by A7X.

TT-BFMV: I bought the deluxe edition with 3 extra tracks. Overall, you get the same badass songwriting and awesome riffs that you would expect from Bullet. My 2 faves are P.O.W. and Not Invincible (bonus track). The energy level is high and keeps on kicking... even through the ballads. Still not as good as The Poison (1st album) but neither were the last 2. Still, I give it 8.5/10.

HTTK-A7X: Highly anticipated and did not disappoint. With songs built more around a weighty riff than intricately organized chaos and laced with M. Shadows' trademark gritty vocals, the album is a full-on rocker! About the only song I'm kind of 'meh' on is Planets. Other than that, a very solid release from, what I would call, the greatest rock/metal band of the 21st century (so far ). I give it 8/10.

The only thing that could make this CD more metal is if it actually summoned Satan.
Awesome dual-guitar riffs, growling vocals, and dark and violent lyrics. This is my go-to album for nearly any activity.

Marshall Mathers LP Part Two (EMINEM)- OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!! :omg:an absolute masterpiece that aims to surpass the original and falls just short (The highest points of this album reach higher than the original, yet the original was relentless in both its flame and its intellect). With songs like the grim yet profound and revealing "Bad Guy" to the ultimate chest-thumping brag song "Rap God", Marshall has solidified himself as one of the greatest artists of our time (or, if you're not a fan, then at the very least hip hop artists of our time). Oh, and then there's "Stronger Than I Was" which completely sucks :pff: but watcha' gonna' do.
