This episode was the bees knees. It had laughs, feels, and an overall nice time. The song was nice, not my favourite but still pretty good. Scootaloo has a house! At least we know she isn't homeless now! XD Anyway this episode was really nice and I enjoyed it. Not my favourite of the season but still pretty awesome. 8/10 PS: GAK IS BACK!!!!
Disappointed they didn't show Diamond and Spoon's routine, I bet Dash rigged it for the CMC to win. Also, dat Harshwhinny.
Definitely a strong, solid episode with a good message: accept yourself as you are and don't despair over what you're not.
Let me say this, I really don't like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. That was just playing dirty. How could they sink so low? Overall I really enjoyed this episode. The song felt really energizing and and I liked seeing attention paid to the Equestria Games. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
I thought the episode had better pacing than others, though seeing some of the routines of other ponies would have been a good addition. A strong episode that, while not the most spectacular of them all, definitely shows a beginning of a good season, and continues hopes of the rest being good. Scoots still likely a dodo. Fanon believers, have no fear: where's Scoot's parents?
We saw Scootaloo's room, but I noticed that the only picture she had was of Rainbow Dash. Dammit, writers! Is she an orphan or not?! Also, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon seem long overdue for a trip to the glue factory.
So Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon made fun of a physical disability in another pony? Wow. Flog them in the street; those little fillies are horrid creatures. Yeah, now I don't think anything anyone could say would ever redeem them to me. Other than that, another CMC episode that I liked! I liked Rainbow Dash in this one much better than last week, way more true to her character. Good lesson too about not giving up on your friends and a new song to boot! Also, those three pretty much burst into song on a whim and they were worried that they weren't going to win? Really? The animation and new facial expressions are awesome. Ms. Harshwhinny is great, I hope they continue to have her in the Equestria Games episodes.
This ran through my head as well. Making fun of the lack of cutie mark is one things, but making fun of physical disabilities? That's getting a little too real.
I was half expecting a big reveal that Ms. Harshwhinny was actually a flightless Pegasus that kept her wings hidden.
Ooh the feels! Wasn't quite as emotional as expected, the preview at comic con kinda spoiled it a bit, but I still choked up at towards the end. Thought the pacing was good, it didn't feel like they had to edit much out for the sake of time. Scootaloo isn't homeless, yay! And yay, more between her and Rainbow, as she comes to Scoots rescue again! When that first song started though, I thought something had gone wrong with the audio of the stream, because there was this really high pitched squeal ... than I realized it was coming from me. Needless to say, loved it, well done, Daniel (despite the 80s movie training montage flashbacks that went along with it, saw way too much of those as a lad). Both the original and the reprisal latter fit the scenes perfectly, looking forward to the remixes. As for my feelings on Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon... well I think Sweetie Belle summed it up best, is a shame they didn't show their routine though.
My favorite moment from the episode was the song but the rest of the episode was just ok although I did like seeing Miss Harshwinny again but when are we going to see the Equestria Games I want to see it?
I quite enjoyed it. The song was cute and Scoot learned a valuable lesson in the end. Would have liked to see DT and SS' routine though. I would imagine it was pretty self-indulgent kinda like the Biskit twins' self portrait cake they did for a contest in an episode of LPS. Also, did anyone else who has DirecTV see that her name was spelled Scottaloo in the description? I'm thinking that the finale will be based around the games. They have mentioned it as a future event in 2 episodes so that's just my guess.
Am i the only one who was expecting Diamond Tiara to do a cover of wrecking ball? No seriously, imagine that. :Trollestia:
Hey, the season ain't over yet. And i really doubt we've already seen the last of this Equestria games stuff.
