Luna flew away laughing. Her pathetic sister was defeated in one blast. She turned to see her sister's body, but she didn't. She snapped her head towards the elements of harmony's chamber to see Celestia unlocking the elements. " Not so fast." She whispered. She engaged her sister and grabbed her with her magic. She ground the elements into dust and flung them into space. While she did this Celestia blinded her with magic beam. She immediately regretted this as Luna kicked her in the muzzle. Blood streamed down her chin. " I'm sorry sister but it's going to take more than that." She smirked. Celestia took off in hopes of escaping. Luna pursued her sister. " Did you honestly think it would be that easy?" She growled hatefully." This is the end of your perfect line!" She zapped her sister in the wing causing her to falter and ultimately fall. When she hit the ground Luna heard a crack. Celestia screamed in pain. Her wing broke on top of being shot by her sister's potentially lethal beam. She lie there weakened and in agony. Luna approached her slowly. Smiling manically. " You cannot banish me!" Celestia cried in pain. " Your my sister!" " I will not tolerate hypocrites!" She scowled at Celestia. " In fact I have something worse in mind for you. It will make you wish you were never born!" She started to glow in a ominous purple. A curved steel knife dripping with black ooze came from her mane. It was poisoned. She slit a X on Celestia's cutie mark. Then slowly dug the knife right in. Not a sign of remorse. " Sister... please stop." Celestia pleaded. " Should've thought of that before you ignored me! Hogging all the fame and fans! Then when I seek a solution you turn me down! No amount of apologies will save your flank!" At that she pushed hard and twisted it when it reach the handle. Celestia's eyes widened at the pain. " You will live long enough to see my gorgeous night rule over all and your sun be destroyed." She laughed. Luna looked at her hooves seeing she was standing in a pool of blood. She flicked it off and flew towards the throne room. " Have fun with the everlasting fire!" She laughed while flying away. " It's all my fault," Celestia thought remorsefully."If I had given her the love she deserves and split the attention with her, this never would've happened. Why was I so blind?" She sobbed. She looked up and saw the sun collapse on its self. Then the moon rose. The horror of all they ponies who were in fear... she felt as if it was all combined and put on her. She used her last bit of magic to see what Luna was doing. Luna walked up to Celestia's throne and smashed it. Then grabbed the tapestries off the walls and burned them. " The everlasting night starts now!" Luna announced in victory.Tears streamed from Celestia's eyes. Her vision was blurring and her heartbeat slowed. The pain felt worse then ever. Her cutie mark was a crimson red. She could hold on no longer. Images of all the good times she had with her sister flashed in her head. When Luna stole cookies as a filly, when she had her first Oreo, snuggling with her, and when she first called her Tia. She never thought it would come to this "Goodbye Equestria. Good bye dear sister." She said in her final breath. She fell limp and her mane stopped flowing. " I hope you learned from your ignorance, sister.'' Luna said to herself." From this night on, this night will be called Summer Moon Celebration." She flew upwards through the hole in the ceiling and looked over Equestria. At last, victory was hers. The End Tell me what you thought!
Mmmhmm This is generally a good fan-fic, though I think it would make more since if you were to change Luna to Nightmare Moon. Because, well Nightmare Moon is ACTUALLY evil. Where Luna is not. But other than that, nicely done.
Reply It's been a long time since I wrote this. I do remember having Nightmare Moon in mind but I don't know why I didn't write it. This is when I thought I could write pony stories with blood and such, but I've changed that to suit the community. I'm glad you liked it though.
