I'm glad you mentioned this. This is something I really don't understand or can't seem to wrap my mind around. I've seen A LOT of people with this same mindset. Now, I really don't know Nomura all that well, but, I really can't see how's he's doing this. Wasn't he behind FF7, 8, 10, etc.? I thought those games were pretty good. But again, that's just me and my opinion. :ahh:
he did work on 7 but then he was just an event planner or whatever, and that was fine. he didn't do 8 to my knowledge, and acording to wikipedia. It was when he took a derectorial role in X-2 that things started too fall apart.
Squeenix let this crap get published. They're the enablers, like the people who stand by and watch as their friends get addicted to drugs.
I was bit rude. x-2 was okay. and he's not bad at his job or anything. he just took the series in a direction I and many don't like.
Alright. I think I understand now. I tend to really not be too much of a critic when I play games. In fact, there's really only a few games I've played that I haven't really liked that much. I mostly just play video games for fun and enjoy the experience. I really could care less about gameplay, story, etc. but obviously that's just me. :ahh:
I'm not usually a critic when I'm actually playing. There has been quite a few games that I liked as I played it wasn't till I gave it some thought after I finished it, then started to hate it. Like Heavy Rain. I play games for fun, negative things can hurt the overall experiance though. I'm not even as bad as a friend of mine, he's hated games for seemingly insignificant reasons.
Yeah I don't really do that. I don't think more about the game after I'm done. I just usually go "that was pretty good!!" and then I move on to the next video game. :derpe:

Sorry to necro this... but... I've been playing this for awhile now... and I can now confidently say... BEST. GAME. EVER.
I am officially finished with FFXV. If you want my final thoughts on it... view them in my thought/experience thread for it on here. It'll be up soon-ish. Either way... I now NEVER have to watch EQG4 EVER. So yay.
