Truthfully Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon feel more like Sun2 and Moon2 in some sense. But in all honesty I guess Nintendo thought they didn't need to make a Pokemon Z. Kinda like the speculation for Pokemon Sun and Moon getting a Pokemon Stars. We instead got what was essentially Pokemon Sun2 and Moon2. Though, in all honesty, your the only one losing sleep over X & Y not having anything in addition to it. Nintendo doesn't always have to abide by their fan's gross self-entitlement to the traditions of sequels or third games.
