Long ago, there use to be traveling walkers of the planet that healed the harm done to all life. As the last war for Equestria finished, there was not much more foreseeable use for what were known as Mother's Children, and they disbanded. This group of ponies lived hermit based lives when they were not needed, and only focuses on self-building through mediation. In this way, they were more aware and could sense the energies of the world they walked. Their sight of energies made them expert herbalists and magic users. Very few ponies practice this outside the Zebra tribes now. Rumors say that the founding of the first group of Mother's Children was by a Zebra. But like all history, this tale has been lost by time. And has gone from legends, to myth.
This sounds pretty interesting, but I'd like to catch a few more details first. Is there a plot to the roleplay?
Hmm. All I got for it mostly is that while my OC Ayerin doesn't mention out loud about it, she is the aforementioned Child of a Lost Existence. She literally is the last existing member of the Mother's Children and she travels alone to find others like herself who live to protect and heal the harm done to life. Though to no avail. She doesn't give up however and makes friends with ponies along the way, despite being a changeling. She has made it a mission for herself to regain lost trust in changelings, as well to reforge the group lost to time.
This has potential, but we need a reason for these Children of a Lost Existence to be important in our Roleplay besides it being a good History lesson. They need some reason to be relevant again in the current time of Equestria when the story takes place. There are many ways to do this, maybe some new threat causes Ayerin to realize that she must make a new group of Children and train them in order to save Equestria. Or maybe, something that the Children of a Lost Existence did in past is having negative effects on those in the present leading to outrage among many Ponies of Equestria causing Ayerin and many others like her to be hunted down as the Ponies of Equestria blame them for the problems Equestria is facing. Maybe, Ayerin grows tired of self improvement and decides to seek out Students to recreate the Children of a Lost Existence and go on adventures again in Equestria, while on her adventures. She may encounters those who would try and stop her. Maybe, an old threat or two seeking for Revenge could start causing trouble to try and finally get revenge on the Children of a Lost Existence. This would led to Ayerin and her new students having to work together to finally defeat this threat once for all and travel all around Equestria fixing the harm, the threat has caused. These are just the Ideas I can think of. I am sure, you could probably think of many more. If you gave me a day or two and gave me a link to your OC. I could potentially write an initial draft of the Roleplay's Plot for you. But I would need a day or two think over all the plot details. Either that or you could write it yourself, writing Roleplay Plots is a great way to improve your writing skills. I can personally recommend it to all writers trying to get started on writing. I am very interested in the idea behind this Roleplay and once it is ready. I would love to be a part of it. Actually, I like the second and third suggestions the most. The second being Ayerin being chased down due to what somepony did within the group. It could be a way to say that some of the lore behind the healers was corrupted by time and the dealings of one caused the whole group to disband because of it to avoid ridicule of the one. Yet all are blamed, all the same. The other one being a returning threat from the day of old. One that was warded off by the healing gifts of the group and now seeks to destroy any remaining after the many years of them being disbanded. As for my OC. She in my list of OCs.
