I really appreciate the offer, and I may take you up on it. I do admit, though, that I'm not sure how much can be taught over the internet. :derpe: So I added you on Skype.

I thank you most sincerely, Harley. I assure you the feeling is mutual. You're awesome and easy to talk to! yes it is a double-edged sword, but honestly, I don't think I'd have it any other way. If I wasn't sincere and straightforward, I'd feel phony and deceitful, and my guilty mind wouldn't let me live it down. So for better or for worse, I'm honest to a fault.

I do have classical training of a sort, just not in singing. I've never been in any choirs and until 2 years ago (I think, might be 3) I never sang at all except softly to myself when alone. Then came a wonderful and terrifying experience that changed my life forever and made me decide to try and be a singer. Since then, whatever improvements I've made, I've made through practice and experimentation, though actual direction would be more beneficial.

On the subject of people, I lack the ability to read others for the most part. I get impressions and read things, but alas, since my own intentions so often are misunderstood, I second-guess my own perceptions about others, causing me not to know what to think of them or to think my impressions are incorrect. But one thing I ALWAYS do, and stubbornly so, is unconditionally trust a new person until they give me reason not to. This makes me easy to take advantage of and causes otherwise avoidable trouble. I may be naive, but I am fiercely proud of being so. If I get hurt or wronged as a result, I merely pity the wrongdoer for being a bad enough person to take advantage of my sincere trust. And I will never apologize or feel bad for being like that.

I'm not joking when I say I literally did this when reading your thoughts about my cover. -> :omg: Thank you so much! I blushed so much to receive such praise from a trained singer. I myself have no training...YET! I'm still dragging my feet, but I'm close to pushing myself to take that first step. It's kind of scary taking it, though. Like a leap of faith into a new and unfamiliar world.

Strange. This cover seems to have the opposite effect my covers usually have. Usually the more I listen to my covers, the more the mistakes bother me. But the more I listen to the aria, the more insignificant and ignorable the mistakes seem to me. I really am proud of this one!

Personally I find it stressful to talk to other people, especially those I don't know. I have a habit of sounding blunter than I intend to, and all too often what I say is misconstrued and people get upset. I'm working on it slowly, but I'm not sure if I'll ever fully enjoy talking to people. People have a habit of reading into what others say, and more often than not, I mean exactly what I say, but they infer something unintended. As for the elderly, I have nothing against them, though the generation gap is difficult to overcome sometimes. Also, living in Georgia, there's a pretty decent chance an older person has some racist or bigoted tendencies and extreme religious views. I don't view all elders like this, of course, especially those I don't even know. But I am somewhat wary while conversing with them. It come pop out when you least expect it. :derpe:

Hehehe, I wasn't always this way! Actually, I was more outgoing online then I was at work. But then I got a job at a pizza parlor and was forced to interact with people, so I become more open and used to it. Now I love talking to our clients and getting to know them. People laugh when I tell them we deal with "older" people, but people forget how cool those people can be. Sometimes I'd rather speak to elders then I do younger people, because younger people are more "modern" I love to hear old stories from back "when they were young". It's so intriguing! Not to say younger people aren't intriguing, but there is just something about stories from "before you were born" that make me smile. ^_____^

Well, from what I've seen from you, it sounds like you'd be great at that job. Your exuberant attitude is perfect for it. Me? I'm quiet and keep to myself most of the time, so my job's pretty good for that. :derpe:
