Sorry for the broken up messages - Have to remember the 1000 character (or is it word?) limit. Short version of all that - I'm not depressed, just thoughtful, but it does make me a bit intense and glum. An odd combination, to be sure.

If I seem a little down now, I'm not really - I'm just very thoughtful and introspective. Perhaps not the best combination in companionship a person could ask for, but what can you do? I find myself at a certain stage in life in which I don't know which way to turn, and so make the third choice - stay still. This hasn't really worked for me in the past, and yet, I seemed condemned to repeat it. I often think that I should do something - anything! But then I become paralyzed by the multitude of choices. Some, like school, get cut away because the risk outweighs the benefits. Others, like a better job, get waylaid by this rotten economy. I'm grateful for the job I do have, simply because finding jobs that pay the rent and all other bills is pretty rare.

As for friends, family and ponies - well, my friends are my family. The people that raised me are strangers that were around when I was growing up, and, at times, seemed intent on making my life as miserable as possible. I was fortunate in that they were not physical, at least. The only place I found acceptance and support is from my friends, but, alas, I could not spend all my time in such a supportive environment, otherwise I'd be a very different fellow now - maybe for the better, but there's no way of being certain.

Heh. Well, I'm in a bit of a slump, so my exciting times are on the low end of the spectrum, and what I consider exciting may not be everypony's idea of exciting. My awesome levels are on the low side right now, mostly because I'm busy trying to work out what to do now, rather than worry about how awesome things are. And my opportunities for randomness are limited, as work and the daily grind frowns on that sort of thing. I'm not trying to make being grown up and living on your own sound boring, but right now, I have to make a plan for the future, as I did not do this when younger. And, as is usually the case, if you don't make plans for what you want, you often get something else.

Thank you very much, i've been lurking around here for a little while before I even joined and it looks like a really awesome place and yer i'm always up for a chat when i'm always free, that would be awesome. :)

Exciting? Awesome? Random? Cool? Me? Perhaps you don't know me so well. I live in Boring City, the state of Oblivion. Nothing much happens to me.

Oddly, though, the Big Decision I was making was similar to yours - go back to school or try to work it out otherwise. I would like to go back to school, but it's just too dang expensive, so I'll go with another route. Maybe update my Pharmacy Technician's license. That might get my foot in the door somewhere. I just want to get out of casino work, although the pay is pretty good, the work conditions are terrible.

Ah, well, I'll just have to plug along as best I can, I suppose.

Oh, well, thank you Harley. My OC, trying to be cute. Only works about half the time.

And I've been busy these last few months, making life-altering decisions and what-not. But, I've come back. I try to be on Friday-Monday, and then do other stuff during the week. Yay.
