1)I was thinking that maybe there should be character limit or cut off deadline that GM's should consider adding to their sign up sheets. This would help to ensure that they get the amount of players they want/need and that others know that is closed.

I have a few side rules if you want to hear them, they're up for debate at the moment so we can talk about them.

Surely possible, but no, not easy... Anything with databases I tend to consider getting towards difficult. Still, doesn't mean we can't look at it, but it wouldn't happen overnight :)
