I turned mine off at nine o'clock, he didn't. I think the only point proved tonight is that he's a bigger douchebag than I thought.

idk about where you live, but noise level is down at eleven in my town, but my parents yell at me if they can hear it at all so..

I have to wake up at 5AM on weekdays and this *squee!* has a habit of blasting his stereo all *squee!*ing night. I spend most of my nights reminding myself that murder is frowned upon.

It's not as much fun, but can't you file a noise complaint? Doesn't your building have a code of conduct on that sort of thing?

I don't call the cops. If it gets bad enough, I may end up having to kick his ass.

I didn't mean the cops really, more a complaint within the building; if the noise is annoying you, it has to be annoying other people too. Petition your landlord or something.

Or kick his ass; I'm sure it'd be more satisfying, but he might not be so reluctant to call the fuzz.

It's not an apartment building, it's more of a duplex.
The landlord lives in another city and doesn't show up often, which is a setup that I like.
Really, I'm hesitant to go after the guy, because other than the noise, he's a pretty good neighbor.
He's just a friggin' idiot.
