At a guess, it has to do with Starlight's heavy involvement in "A Royal Problem" and some especially harsh words that were exchanged in the episode's thread. LS is on my Ignore list, but I know for sure that Ridley's were particularly rude.
Truth be told, Ridley ending up in his current situation is exactly why I've rarely tried to follow his lead. I used to unknowingly act like a jerk during my early online days, and I've had to exercise a tighter grip on my temper since then to keep from getting people upset with me.
When anger is unnecessary used for no reason, I can see why it's a problem. Ridley defending himself and trying to talk sense in Lost, is another case. He is angry because Lost is being a little *squee!*, picking unnecessary fights with people. Ridley merely has had enough and I cannot blame him. Is Ridley's actions always worth condoning? Of course not. But I do support him telling off Lost.
