She frowned, looking around as fear struck her. She headed down the way he had gone, her brow furrowing.
She began to pick out some things, carefully prioritizing things that they both might like.
She relaxed a little before nodding. "Go look. I'll pick out some stuff."
She seemed surprised, looking up at him. There was a little air of nervousness around this suggestion. "Okay... what are you getting?"
She returned to his side after a moment, resting her hand idly on his back.
She began to wander the aisles, her hands clasped in front of her.
She followed him in, looking around curiously.
"If it's what you described, I don't think I've psyched myself up enough," she said enthusiastically. "I'm just hoping you'll have a nice time."
She giggled, her free arm slipping around his waist. "This'll be fun, then. I'm excited. Do I need to do anything else?"
She hesitated before grinning up at him. "And those two people are you and I, right? Because this would be really awkward otherwise."
She flushed, but looked up at him seriously. "You sure? Because I don't want to do it badly because I was unprepared."
"Do we need anything for cuddling?" she asked curiously, almost like a student preparing for an exam.
She nodded, slipping under his arm gently. "What are we getting?"
Her nose crinkled as she laughed, looking up at him gently. "Yes. I know. It was heartbreaking."
There was a pause before she spoke again, her tone shifting to become languid and warm. "Will you teach me how to cuddle tonight?"
She sighed a little, her shoulders slumping as he turned away. She let him lead, folding her arms gently. "Are you cross with me?"
She raised one eyebrow. "I'm allowed to have my own thoughts, Zerras," she replied primly, tilting her head affectionately.
"There's nothing wrong, Zerras," she said gently, looking up at him. "We should go buy supplies and get out of town; I don't think that fighting...
