He nodded, closing the door in their faces. Ben raised an eyebrow. "That went well."
She pointed it out, beginning to swim towards the cave, pulling back the kelp tentatively.
He frowned before nodding. “Yeah, okay.”
She swam forward, looking for anything else that was familiar.
Puck was in his room and he opened the door, frowning when he saw them. “What is it?”
She looked down, pursing her lips. “We’re close. Come on, Z.”
He rolled his eyes playfully before taking her hand. “Let’s go.”
“There. That statue. I think that might be it...”
He sighed a little, seeming regretful. “Yeah.”
Her eyes widened and she swam forward, heading for the statue quickly.
“I think it’s be better,” he said. “If we leave at night, we’re going to need to stop and camp anyway.”
She kept her eyes peeled for anything that looked familiar.
“Well, we’re supposed to leave this evening,” he said with a small huff. “I think we should start earlier, though.”
She started swimming off, her tail almost glowing in the light from the city.
He kissed her temple before retrieving his trousers. “Fine. Another time, then.”
“I know the kind of area it was in,” she said. “We just need to look around.”
He came up behind her, slipping his arms around her waist. "I'm definitely not. However, I am a proponent of you facing your fears.
