He looked down at her with a small smile. "Looks like you're going to."
She slipped onto his lap, her arms moving to rest over his shoulders. "Eh. I think you're just biased."
He showed her. It was a smaller civilization in the desert near the ocean in the south. "Yeah, it is."
She came over, standing in front of him with crossed arms. "Hm.. Sounds kinda fake."
He was looking at the map. "No, no. A desert kingdom."
Her blush deepened and she leaned into his touch, until he said the last part. She squinted. "What is that supposed to mean?"

She looked up at him, a small flush on her cheeks. "Yeah."
He laughed a little at thought. "I suppose I should. Demons don't do well in cold."
"You're pretty close to mine," she commented, looking up at him. "Does this work okay?"
He looked down at her. "You know I'm not gonna let it go. We ought to just get it over with."
Her smile widened and she squeezed his hand, going to find his room.
"Oh, right," he remembered, "we should find you a coat."
She squinted at him. "What's wrong with that?"
It was hanging over his arm and he offered it to her.
"If she trusts you, I'm sure they'll follow suit. I think it'll be okay."
He frowned slightly, looking down at them. "Oh. Alright."
She grinned. "Okay. Let's go find it so you have somewhere to sleep for the night."
He nodded, looking down at her. "Yeah. That reminds me.. Do these bandages work?"
She squeezed his hand, slowly relaxing as he was talking. "You're really sweet, Ben. Did the queen give you a room to stay in?"
