She was watching him, her gaze sharp. She looked up at the queen. "May I go with the faerie?"
He gave her a small nod, and Zerras pulled her back on their way with a slow, relieved sigh.
Cal was silent, but clearly upset. She wondered about the treatment, but didn't say anything, looking up at the queen.
He tapped his fingers and gave her the map. "Eheheh.. Very interesting indeed."
"That's him," Cal said quietly, hesitantly looking up again.
The goblin took the ring, dropping it into a coin purse. "Anything at all, Miss."
Cal was silent, but there was dread filling her, and she looked down before she could start panicking.
"It's fine," he told her. "Don't worry."
She looked unsure, but waited for the wounded to return.
Zerras frowned and pulled her back, as well as giving her back the scythe. He set reached into his pocket and pulling out a small ring, dropping...
"It didn't sound good," she admitted. "Maybe I'm just afraid."
"Eh, none in particular."
She nodded slightly. "I am afraid of the treatment Puck did. It's unfortunate, but I don't believe it was good."
He looked around warily before leaning close. "The oldest item you have, a truth, and a lie."
She looked up at her with a small frown. "It's sad that finding him in a dungeon is what convinced everyone else.."
"Manticore's and the like. So, you'd like to purchase the map?'
"It's.. It's okay. Thank you."
