He frowned uncertainly, going to follow.
She frowned. "Not well."

She looked up in surprise. "Ferris..'
He looked over at her uncertainly. "Why are you crying?"
She nodded, getting up and starting out.
The building blew up with the explosives rather spectacularly, the flames bursting into the air as smoke began to rise.
"You're free to continue."
He looked back with a nod. "We need to return to base quick."
"I have nothing left to say," she said quietly.
She was quiet. "Is there anything else you needed from me?"
He started back, looking anxious.
"You've erased Ferris's memories and won't allow him to speak to me alone. Every time I see him he has a new injury."
He looked up at the building. "Should we get some distance?"
"Or because you've abused and manipulated them," she said flatly."
He followed her, looking around anxiously.
She squinted. "I assure you it hasn't."
