"No," she said easily, looking tired and on edge. "I haven't."
He watched her go, looking concerned. Once she got to the building he waited for her to speak.
She pulled it out of her pocket. "Are you sure? Very well, then. I'll keep it in memory of Alyona."
He nodded, kissing her cheek one last time before opening the door hesitantly.
"Ferris for the necklace," she said with a frown. "I know how much it means to you."
He squeezed her hand and nodded. "I trust you."
"I suppose you wouldn't be interested in a deal, then," she said, her brows furrowing slightly.
He nodded slowly. "Okay. I'll see you after, hopefully."
"I'm sure you know why I'm here," she said flatly, looking a little hopeless.
Abel frowned, taking his earpiece and approaching her. "Are you ready?"
She came in, reaching into her pocket and grabbing the necklace. "Romero."
