"I'm glad you're here too," she said. "I really missed you."
He frowned. "That doesn't stop me from worrying about you. I don't where the line is drawn between 'friend' and 'something I don't have to worry...
"Still," she told him, resting her head on his chest. "Cute."
"Yeah, but.. I don't know. Just making sure."
She gave him a small smile. "You're cute."
He glanced back at her. "You'd tell me if anything was wrong, right?"
She brushed his hair back gently. "Are you tired?"
"Mm. Not me. I think she was planning on it, though."
She grinned, watching him gently. "But you shouldn't. I'd be sad."
He sighed. "I think you should at least try to eat."
She raised an eyebrow and hesitated before kissing his cheek. "You wouldn't dare."
He frowned. "You didn't eat earlier either. Are you feeling okay?"
"Oh, hush," she teased. "You'll be okay."
"Just cereal. Do you want some?"
"Nope. Never."
They were resting on the table beside her. "I'm just making food."
