Abel was in his bedroom, shuffling around the closet.
"I want you to stay when you should be with your family," she said slowly. "But you should try to keep her in school, Ferris."
He nodded. "Go shower."
She watched him sadly, taking his hands in hers and setting them down regretfully. "..Family is important. I shouldn't be selfish."
He raised an eyebrow. "It'd just be easier."
"Your sister?"
He looked thoughtful. "Hm.. I have some crutches you can use."
"I wish you could stay," she said quietly. "But I want you to be safe."
He nodded hesitantly. "At first."
"Of course I do," she said quietly. "I get.. I get so sad when I think about never seeing you again. But, I still mean I said."
"You're a little bloody," he said with a frown. "I'm just worried."
She sighed, leaning into his touch. "You should keep your sister in boarding school, Ferris. It's safe there, and she has a chance at education...
Abel gazed out, before coming over. "O, you should get cleaned up."
She couldn't seem to meet his gaze, her brows furrowed. "Are you sure theres no chance?"
Abel finished his shower, and went to get dressed.
She shook her head. "I.. I can't understand it."
He nodded slightly, going back into the bathroom.
Her brows furrowed. "I like what you have to offer, Ferris," she said with a frown. "You care about me and I care about you. That's what matters."
His brows furrowed. "You okay?"
She crossed her arms self consciously. "Why not?"
